What errors are you getting when trying to install? What are your harddware specs? Are you trying to install on a SATA or PATA HD?

I believe it.... today's technology no, but 100 years from now I can see computers, what we call today, will be full fledge AI's without human intervention. Then moving into then next millenium I could even see reproduction of an AI. Soon enough we will have "H.A.L.", not Space Odyssy 2001.... they were entirely off track.
Sound's rediculous, but think of this... civilization never even had the light bulb, pen, pencil, paper, or match until someone had invented it. If you traveled back into time say B.C. era you will be considered a GOD with the wealth of knowledge and technology in your hands, then again you just might be killed.

I'd most definatly like to speak live on IRC. I think it'd be yet another great asset this community has to offer. Like prathapml said, possibly an IRC applet over HTTP like you see on some sites would be great.

I'd recommend a USB external enclosure for the new HD then copy the image. Check Here. You may not need to go all out with the enclosure since its a one time deal. Possibly just the cable iteslef for converting 2.5 IDE > USB/Firewire w/o an enclosure.

I agree, I would migrate the server to W2k or W2k3 server, much easier to work with. Although, there may be some NT4 guru's here that can help ya out.

Think about it... science fiction will in my opinion for the most part become fact within the next 30-50 years. I, Robot & 5th Element scenes will become common life... like I said before it sucks we'll all be so old. I just want to go into space one time and feel weightlessness and so far away from home. That'd be so great!

Bah... screw it. I'm going for the Raptor and will buy some others later. Just makes more sense to me, and I'm willing to pay for speed and reliability. So the Raptor and the Ballistix sounds like a good combo to me!

Yeah, I knew about the size constraints but I figured for a system drive it would be faster. I was thinking use the Raptor as the system drive and then buy a couple WD SATAII 250's later on and Raid0 them and use that for storage.

Yes. I just bought a P4 650 and it came with instructions on attaching the h/s to the chip once in a board and all that. be sure to read the manual that came with your mobo as well.

Well.... I'm building a new machine right now and haven't even purchased a floppy as I didn't think I'd ever need one again. Haven't used one in a few years. Is there no way to load the driver off a cd/dvd/usb drive??

I can't tell you how to only change thyat box but you might want to try XPize and the XPize Forum, and I also know that apps like WindowBlinds can change the entire theme of windows from the icons, desktop, file transfer boxes etc.
