  1. hmm...I still can't reproduce. But let's stop spamming this thread. Take this convo over to my forums.
  2. When it's on the website in plain English, yes you should.
  3. RunOnceEx executes on the first login
  4. you could also have it look for an already existing file like Win51IP (or IC if you use home) rather than adding extra files to the CD
  5. My guess is it's the hacked syssetup.dll causing the problem. Try without that. I'm going to do a quick test on my own and see what I can reproduce. If there's bad files, I'll remove them until I get ahold of working ones. EDIT: Just integrated all 4 and haven't seen any problems. What stage of Windows setup are you seeing the errors at? I've made it to T33 with all of them and no issues (and I seem to remember fatal signature errors happening pretty much immediately at the beginning of GUI setup, like at T39) EDIT2: I've got a couple hotfixes showing as needing to be reinstalled according to qfecheck, but that's to be expected when using hacked files. EDIT3: Hmm, apparently I didn't copy syssetup.dll into i386 properly . I'm building a new ISO now. I'll get back to you.
  6. Did you run nLite on it previously? I'm betting that's a yes...
  7. That's a nightly build, not an official release. The official release is supposed to be within a week or so. http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/
  8. EDIT: Gone
  9. And for those of you who've integrated my Update Pack 1.2, I've heard anecdotally that the only people seeing this as something they need to install are the ones who've integrated it with nLite. Has anybody who integrated my pack manually seen this update show up as one that has to be installed?
  10. I can't find this temporary files/folder... I would like to see if my code can be stolen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> open up a command prompt and type in "echo %TEMP%" Go to that directory. Make sure you've got explorer set to show hidden files/folders. Start the "compiled" EXE. See the cmd file now created in that temp folder.
  11. If I find the time to hack the 7zip SFX file, sure.
  12. *New*? That's a January security update...
  13. , QBFC is nothing but a glorified SFX archive. See for yourself, the batch file is extracted to the temp folder with a random filename and hidden attribute at runtime. I could do the same thing with a little 7zip SFX module hacking.

  15. Nope, I have nothing to do with WMP10. I'll soon have an updated .NET installer up which has the new hotfix (and a few others) integrated into it.
  16. RE: KB890830 - you can't install it like that. It's not a hotfix. Since this is a fresh windows install, I don't see any reason not to just import the registry entry to make it disappear from Windows Update. It's not like you're going to have a worm on a fresh format. And any special you don't use my update pack and switchless installers? Big update coming today or tomorrow
  17. How do you think I got that screenshot
  18. I call shens.
  19. I directly edit the MSI too, but the Sun one is kind of weird. The majority of registry entries it writes aren't created by the MSI but by stuff run by the MSI.
  20. You can't change the driver letter of your system drive
  21. I've heard it does
  22. You're right, I misread
  23. Yeah, I used to do that with the RAID packs back in the day. What I don't know is what character the EOF marker is. Plus, there are times where I want to change existing values, not strictly add new ones.
