Hulk - would you mind adding a note to KB890830 and KB873374 saying "THIS IS NOT AN INTEGRATABLE HOTFIX!!!!!11111one"? OK, I exagerated a bit, but you get the point. Since the question has been asked in this thread more times than I can count, it would help reduce confusion and thread clutter.
Dennis - that question's been answered numerous times in this thread. KB890830 is NOT a hotfix, therefore it can't be integrated. If you want to mimic the effect, add the registry entry on the previous page to make it disappear from WindowsUpdate.
...or instead of running the EXE you can just add this registry entry: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RemovalTools\MRT] "Version"="805647C6-E5ED-4F07-9E21-327592D40E83"Consider this, do you really think you have to worry about a virus being on your system at the time when that EXE runs? Didn't think so.
For this to have an even remote chance of working, you'd also need the updated INF files from i386 (not to mention the random drivers which exist in i386 or in both i386 and driver.cab)
It doesn't matter. Hotfixes are smart enough these days to check file versions and only update a file if newer KB number has nothing to do with release date.
I've had it sitting on my hard drive for awhile now, haven't decided how I want to go about integrating it, though, since it has new files not previously on the XP CD. So in short, it'll be included eventually
