Gamehead, in your case, either you have some dual boot setup, you might have changed the backup files path, or you didn't have enough space on you windows partition, and the installation set it on a seperate partition that did have enough space... These are the folders that are being created when you install SP1 update... - %systemroot%\Servicepackfiles (these are most of the installation files neccesary and can not in any way be deleted) - %systemroot%\$NtServicePackUninstall$ (this can be safely removed if you are sure that you won't have to uninstall SP1 at any time) - Random numbers, up to 20 characters, like 9650eb12e8b4d3547657, on the root of the volume that had the most free space. Those folers with large numbers should been deleted after you finished installing it, if not you can safely delete them.. I have done this a month ago, and I can guarantee you that it won't do any harm if you delete it..
