I ran ad aware didnt help.also tried spybot,nothing seems to get rid of it

Every time I start IE6 this page keeps loading, http://www.mysearchnow.com/ I have went into the registry to scan for it with no result,I have reset my homepage,yet this page keeps loading no matter what I try.I have IE6 sp1 so I cannot even reinstall IE, How do I get rid of this page.I even tried the program HIGHJACK THIS,nothing works.

I am running MSN 6 on Windows Me and it works perfect,try to remove it and then reinstall it,on my first run it screwed up but when I reinstalled it, it has run well ever since.

What folder is the back in? I will keep the SP1 update,but want to get rid of the back up,thing is I dont know what its called on the C: drive to find it.

When you upgrade from XP home to XP SP1,it puts a backup folder on your computer,does anyone know where it is and whats its called,I would like to delete it, to make more room on my harddrive and is it safe to get rid of it?

I would like to use any search companion or classic search they are gone from the settings in the search button and I dont know the url key in the registry in xp.maybe if I could find what used to be there I could re-enter it into the registry.I tried tweak ui to set for classic search but nothing changed in the search settings.

There is no reset button,I wish there was and have tried every fix there is on the microsoft site from the reinstall -( which does not work because I have IE6 SP1 which does not show up in ADD and Remove section,dont know why but this stops every reinstall i have tried) I even tried the registry fix of changing the default value from a 1 to a 0 which is said to allow a reinstall. I am starting to think there is no way to get the search assistant or customisze back to default.

In my internet explorer 6, my search button got messed up somehow, where it says customize and you get to choose what search engine you want to use,MSN for example, well mine just comes up blank,what I need is the entry that I used to have in my registry for my search assistant, the url to make the little search box work. I hope someone out there can help, I am not sure I am explaning this clearly but I think of another way to explain it.

It would be nice to be able repair IE6 in XP when it screws up, like mine is now,reinstall does not work in XP,why they took this option out, I dont understand.

Are XP Pro and XP Corporate the same thing or are different from each other? And do you have to register ethier one,mine is the pro version and it said it is an option.
