Alright right now i am trying to reduce the amount of programs i use to play videos, movies and music. I use Realplayer to play real files VLC to play DVDs Divx player to allow for the playing of divx videos AC3 Fliter to help with some audio enhancment IF i use K-lite codec pack do i need to keep divx since it appears there is a divx codec included in the k-lite. but i dont not see that k-lite can play real files. VLC also cannot play real files neither can WMP11. is there a way i can eliminate divx player and realplayer through codec packs or other players (do not wish to switch to real alternative) Thanks all

i recently found screamer radio and am wondering if there are any other great streaming programs out there? i tried looking but didnt find anything good. Screamer is a bit buggy but sweet.

Alright i want a registry tweak that forces all wallpaper to automatically stretch rather than center. There is a key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop "WallpaperStyle" that allows you to change the format of the current wallpaper but i want this to apply to all wallpapers from current to furture ones applied. I just baught a wide screen monitor and i always have to change the wallpaper to stretch to fit the screens width ideas?

just leave the line out of your winnt.sif if you want unlimited logons...

if you look at the files replaced by the older update KB914389 with the addition of the update KB924270 you will see that between the 2 updates the files in KB885835 are all replaced by newer ones between these 2 fixes

i just slipstreamed ie7 into my xp source. that is the only change i have made and i now have the language bar appearing for some reason? is this default with ie7 install or a bug with nlites slipstreaming? Will i have to add a reg tweak to disable language bar in future unattended installs?

It seems slipstreaming ie7 with nlite is the easiest way to install this. my only concern is that the hotfixes i install with a batch file will over wright some of the files included in ie7. I took out the fixes that The Guy listed as no longer needed when ie7 is installed. should i be safe then? also i only noticed 1 wmp10 hotfix as no longer needed when wmp11 is installed. what about the other 5 or so hotfixes that where with wmp10 they are safe to leave out of an install now i assume?

alright what does net framework 3 replace? does it replace both other frameworks? only 2? what bout the framework patches for 2?

i have noticed that both IE6 hotfixes are listed along with IE7? why is this?

I am going to add IE7 to my au cd and i'm wondering what previous hot fixes apply to IE6 that i can removed from my update batch since they wont be needed any more with IE7?

if IE7 is installed from a batch with switches during unattended setup will it ask for WGA?

KB925672 is coming up for me on update. Its for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 when installed on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 and Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 I guess i need both KB925672 and KB924191 Does KB925672 replace anything?

Is there performance increases with the almost monthly updates of directx 9.0c?

@puntoMX So is the Aluminum better then the steal case? I am just guessing that since the price is 40 more for the lighter case. would you say the steal case is weaker?

Alright I am interested in a Thermaltake Armor pc tower. There is about $40 differene between the silver and black towers also it seems the silver tower is half the weight of the black tower?!?! Black CASE Net Weight 16.2Kg Chassis: 1.0mm SECC Silver CASE Net Weight 7.5Kg Chassis: 1.0mm I noticed that the black case has SECC chassis what does this mean? Anyone have these cases that could provide some type of comparison?
