  1. Seems we are experiencing a brief hiccup on the server with the hotfix lists. Should be back soon ...
  2. Have a look-see here: http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/XPCREATE/current.htm
  3. No problem: You got it!
  4. Oh ... that file ... True, there seems to be a logic error, however, if you get there, it is because you did not download the files for IE6 into the SOURCE directory. Do this first, and all should be fine. Additionally, this MAKEIE was intended for XPCREATE and Windows 2000, and is now incorporated into XPCREATE: in other words, if you are using XPCREATE on a Windows 2000 install CD, you need not include this step or file.
  5. Thanks, Vel Straty. I must admit, I still have not had time to look into it further. I will ... It is, however, difficult to debug with out the version in question, and I do not have the full XP set woth me these days. I will keep you posted. Thanks, zippy, for the Chinese version. Again, due to time constraints, I've not tested many of the non-English versions, and am relying on you all helping eachother, and Host Virindi helping us all!
  6. Hmm ... I don't see a makesfd.cmd file in the latest XPCREATE release ... In any event, welcome to MSFN, dhs13!
  7. Hello again, Lost Soul! So ... it looks like the applications not installing were due to a $OEM$\ file copy, and that's OK now. Your clean-up command looks fine, except that USERSPROFILE should read USERPROFILE (you have an extra 'S'). XPCREATE used to handle RunOnceEx and reboots, but I've stopped that for two reasons: 1) It sometimes conflicted with the Users own RunOnceEx files, 2) Reduced maintainence/debugging time. So, in answer to your question, as Virindi said, it is really not an XPCREATE issue. My opinion ... given the list of things you are installing during RunOnceEx, I would recommend a reboot and clean up as you currently have! As I have less and less free time, (and more and more summer vacation!), I'm relying more on users helping eachother, as Virindi has been doing. Thanks!
  8. That'll work! Perhaps simply taking ownership from the propeties page will allow you to delete them as well. Thanks for sharing your solution!
  9. Your driver, "Adaptec Embedded Serial ATA HostRAID", isn't supported. Email me the drivers to the address in my signature, and I will add them next update, if possible.
  10. You got it! (That was easy!)
  11. As far as I am concerned, this has been resolved long ago, as many people have correctly installed SATA/RAID drivers. When adding OEM PnP Drivers, as we are doing here, a WINNT.SIF file IS NEEDED. For WINNT.SIF syntax, I suggest reading the REF.CHM file on the Windows CD.
  12. That's not on topic: not one MP quote in the whole post! (Thanks, prathapml!)
  13. Sounds like you need to review http://unatended.msfn.org WINNT.INI questions qre not XPCREATE specific ... You will need it to add OEM Drivers, as you wish to do. On my way to fireworks and beer ...
  14. On my way out the door ... you really should do yourself a favor, and start by reading this ... http://unattended.msfn.org/
  15. Follow the instructions: http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/XPCREATE/raid.htm If that does not work, attach your LOGFILES.CAB file to a new post, and we can look into it. And ... Welcome to MSFN, Mr. Jorgensen!
  16. That is exactly correct: add the new files, push the button, and come back in an hour. Not fast, perhaps, but not complicated or painful either ...
  17. Pleasure doing business with you!
  18. That ain't gonna happen ... I'll have to put a No Morrons sign on the Web Site. I hope you read THIS page ... If your SATA/RAID driver is on that list, you put the drivers in the correct directory, you edited WINNT.SIF accordingly, and the drivers are not installed, attach your LOGFILES.CAB file to a new post. And, of course ... Welcome to MSFN, weebl!
  19. Hmmm. I don't have a French Version for testing at the moment, nor much time these days ... Patience, Libou!
  20. Where ???????? corresponds to the ????????.SYS driver file name of XPCREATE SATA/RAID Integrated Driver.
  21. Yes, those ASMS errors are almost always Hardware/Media related. The utility CDCHECK may spot the error.
  22. I get it ... for now it works for 95% of the folks. I will look into when I touch that code again.
  23. Thanks for that, Vel Straty. I should have a chance to look at it tomorrow.
  24. Welcome to MSFN, Nos4ah2, and thanks for the link. Kind of like looking for a needle in a haystack: I'm not very good at long articles! Generaly, these errors are related to hardware or media in one way or another, so I "wait and see". XPCREATE is not the cause ...
  25. Depends what and how you are installing, but my current installs require QCHAIN, and I've yet to see it cause an error. I always use it, and never wonder if I should.
