1. I hope CrystalXP.net helps.
2. Can't download. Maybe the link is broken.
3. Try NmapView, it is a Windows frontend GUI for NMap.
4. Finally, after nearly 2 years of using v1.42... I'm already playing with v1.5!!!! It's worth the wait, it is far much better than previous version. Thanks!
5. coathanger007: I stumbled upon one of your site - http://www.bestqualitywallpapers.com/ Nice wallpapers One more thing, on your desktop themes regarding Longhorn Transformation Pack, you might consider pointing your link to the newer version Vista Transformation Pack at Softpedia
6. They must have been watching this thread, LOL, downloads from themexp has been an .exe + spywares for over a year now (even for just wallpapers ). BUT, as of yersterday, VS's from themexp now comes in .zip thanks to Camarade Tux!

8. Is LongHorn server different from Vista?
9. Thanks cluberti. That means I cannot add a user account picture and the XP style account pictures in my drive are uselessly taking up space. It never bothered me though if I had or had no user picture but when I was browsing the forum and saw these two threads, I said to myself why not put an account picture - if I can, that is. But sadly , it can't be done.
10. How can you add at the top of the start menu an XP-like user account picture right beside the user name. In win 2003 just the username is displayed - no picture\icon. There are .bmp's in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures similar to XP account pictures but are not being used. There were two similar questions posted here (the oldest was 3 years ago) but not resolved. The other one, just over a year ago, was not even answered. 15. thanks PITU, i merged the values to the registry and the Control Panel WORKS, however, Dev Manager, Svcs, and Drive Cleanup gets an error message: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel." Im using Windows 2003. I looked at their values in the registry and the default REG_SZ has "value not set". Under the Manage and Find keys reg type is "REG_EXPAND_SZ". The Control Panel has the same type REG_SZ but it worked! You pointed me to the right direction of finding the solution and Im determined to solve this...
16. how do you add Services, Control Panel, Device Manager, Drive Cleanup on right click at My Conputer icon? i saw this in nlite "tweaks" but i think this is only for customizing windows installation, how about on currently running windows? using .inf or .reg would be nice.
17. the icons are better more appealing this time. never had problem installing it since version longhorn transformation v9.
18. @Level, where can i get the 60kb reg file to integrate in w2k3? can you post a link where to download it. thanks.

22. -this registry setting will prevent the paging of the kernel to the pagefile.sys or make use of RAM before going to the disk -you must have at least 256mb memory ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management] "DisablePagingExecutive"=dword:00000001 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
23. to overwrite existing files without dos/command prompt asking you questions, you would do something like this: echo y | copy c:\thisfile.txt d:\ "echo y" will automatically answer YES (y) to the file exist prompt "Overwrite d:\thisfile.txt? (Yes/No/All):"
24. i left xp pro for windows server 2003 data center about a year ago and never looked back. now im using windows 2003 standard edition coz of lesser memory requirement.
