Please, i have 256 Kbs ADSL shared on a network, so the speed isn't great enough.. and some sites offer .wmv online video clips (to watch only) which on this speed may exprience problems. my question is: is there a way to download online video clips, then watch them ?? Thank you.

are you using 16 bit color depth for your desktop try to change it to 32 bit i'd the same problem and that was the solution. right click on desktop select properties > settings > color quality

the ping command was ok until i tried to ping another PC on our network or ping the default gateway, the pc produce short Beeps and strange codes appear in the DOS window instead of sending packets lines !! what is that ? also, i would like to know can the ping command used to test network cable if it is good or bad ? i'd test them on XP and they are ok may be you are using old OS like 98 also these gadgets are stand alone applications, no need for other files.
