i have a clean install of xp pro and all default services are ok he is sharing a folder he can access me, but i can not access him !! also, i want to ask about how to send a file via LAN not Internet ? is there a program for that ? Thanks.

i'm sharing ADSL (router and a switch) with a friend in the same building we are connected to the switch i can see him in Network places but when i try to open his computer it says access is denied, but he can access me !! he had no passwords on his machine. we had disabled authentication and firewall but no way ? each of us have a different workgroup name Thank you...
