Correction Jeremy... Video cards, cards. You would need many many cards... 24 monitors is just like one with FSAA 24x, not much. ... FSAA 8x + aniso 6x requires more power. -
Thanks a lot. It looks promising with windows which have round corners. edit : and on the same site, I found hiddenstart : http://www.ntwind.com/software/utilities/hstart.html It seems to do exactly what I wanted. Thanks a lot

I always get an error when trying to do it, "This page cannot be save." Don't know what the deal is. I use nLite to rip a hell of a lot of crap out of my system, though, so I could've brokem MHT support in the process. I'd appreciate it if someone could post a link to sample file. Thanks. MHT needs Outlook Express and some pages can't be saved (no matter what you have done, it's the page). I attached Google's main page saved as MHT and as regular page. Google_MHT.7z

Using AutoHotKey here and have tens of installs using it. And there's something I wonder : is AutoIt opensource ?

Busy here too. Licences are really hard to choose. You should maybe take a look at Creative Commons (and ask Igor Pavlov if 7-Zip and therefore your icons can be used in commercial apps). GNU is not a licence. GPL is, LGPL too. 7z is licensed under LGPL (with slight modifications I think). All you need is a *compatible* licence, not the same. But take your time and chooose carefully.

Some inf files, such as intl.inf have a comment at the end: ; Customized by nLite - www.nliteos.com There's an nlite.inf file too on the disk.

Yeah, but I still wanted to be certain. I'm all up for saving a couple MB here and there. And yesterday somebody sent some .ace files. I was really wondering how I could extract them. ... Stupid me. Thanks a lot nitro322 for this great app.

I don't see much difference between T-12 and T-13. It's only that I install it at T-12 and as far as I remember, it works. And if you use the the installer I linked to a few post earlier, you won't get that "runtime error 13" since it comes from a file that is no present in it. :?

- check 7za.exe to see if current version supports all 7z.exe formats No. When I said this, I made a big mistake. You can read 7zip's help file, it is pretty clearly stated.

Hmm, I was sure I added a msg like "Finished. Cleaning up" or sth. I'll check that. Regarding how many updates downloaded, do you mean the ones that were actually downloaded? eg. apart from the ones that were already there? I thought of a something like : And then, the line would change. However, I'm not sure you can "change" the content of the line with Batch : if you have to write a new line for that, then it's not worht because it would make too many lines. Also, I ran your script from cmd and you wrote something. You just forgot to add a "Pause"after that. Yes, I know, Bilou mentioned sth about this as well. I've just ran a test with a VM, I downloaded the hotfixes, integrated them on to the iso, installed, and after installation windows update still had few updates to download. I'll have to check that but after a brief look I think the ones that it offered were the non-critical ones, or whatever you call them. On many lists they are considered 'additional'. It just seems they are not included in mssecure. I'm not sure though why Windows Installer is one of them. To be honest when I started this project I thought MS puts ALL their updates in the mssecure file. It seems it's not entirely the case. I'll definitely see what I can find out about it.

Afaik, context menu is done with !ifdef WIN64 ExecWait 'regsvr32 /s "$INSTDIR\7-zip.dll"' !endif This is a shell extension so I'm not sure you can add something in this context menu by using the registry. However you should be able to edit 7zip, recompile it and get that (should be pretty easy since everything is already written but I don't really know). Could you try to install this at T-12 instead of T-13 ? And how do you see it doesn't install ? There's no 7-Zip directory or ... ? And for the rest, I can't really tell you : I don't have much time ATM. :/

But I don't want to use NO-IP

I ran it a bunch of times and it looks good but I'll test it in a VM : updates for XP SP1 are not the same than the one I had. So I can't pronounce myself without a VM.

Defragmenting your Hard Drive(s)

That's ReiserFS. -
You only have to run the file. As far as I'm concerned, I have "Silent=0" in my config file and I run "wmlite.exe /S". Thus if I run the file in windows, it doesn't necessarilly install (don't ask me why but it's handy for me).
-
And what if I write "include common.cfg" in xpsp2.cfg ? Don't care though. ATM I have two comments: -don't exit the script directly, first say "job done" or something else. -could you write how many updates have been downloaded at a moment. Thanks.

A 80-bit computer! -
Is this a serious question. The answer however is NO. I just can't see how overclocking can change the outcome of an proces that results in a new cd for installation. For me it's clear that processing the DRIVER.CAB by Nlite is responsible for the disappearing of the named drivers. Yes, serious. Because nlite does not compress driver.cab : it asks makecab.exe (M$ utility) to do it. If your CPU is OC'ed, you may get some corruption. The other possibility is nlite deletes the files but does not remove the references to them so windows tries to copy them to the HD and complains since the files are not here.

After a 10 hours sleep, I recall better: "Shell Media Handler" is needed to provide media-specific infos : bitrate , format, artist, album, length... Without it, you will only get "format" (according to extension : a .avi can never be seen as a divx!), size (in KBs or MBs) and that's it. (not needed since you already have InfoTag Magic) "Disable Info Tips on Files and Folders" is exactly what you want. "Disable Balloon Tips" will enable/disable the "tips" you get just above the windows taskbar.
-
There's something else, I don't remember what exactly. Check "Shell Media Handler" description.

[SETTINGS] DIMENSION.WIDTH=100% DIMENSION.HEIGHT=100% Worked but it seems there's a border. I did not test in VMWare yet and will see if a WindowState setting would be needed.

And registry too.
