  1. I'm sorry for you two. I like your themes. I can't believe someone voted for a disney theme. IMHO That makes me think that the end is coming.
  2. @army20: It couldn't be another one. Fits perfectly with you.
  3. Build. You have to choose your hardware according to your needs.
  4. I voted no. Polls are good to know about people opinions and some of them are even funny. People who voted yes, are you out of your mind or what?
  5. I'm for. It's the best way to have xxx sites identified and it's an easier way to get them out of child access using filters or whatever.
  6. He should go get a job or will spend his entire life earning money for the project. LMAO
  7. At that price and they don't put the name of the letters? You're paying for them. LMAO I won't buy it but individually weighted key switches sounds at least interesting.
  8. I cracked Firefox....do you want to share? LMAO I give this post 15 minutes before it get closed.
  9. You can delete mspaint with nlite and then do a unattended install of paint.net. Paint.net will be your default program for images.
  10. thanks for the info. I was already using 77.77 but mines were not WHQL Certified
  11. Good one Shark007! But this batch doesn't affect stobject or hotplug, it affects systray, so I have a question. Does it works with the original xp files instead of the windows 2000 ones?
  12. It would be considered warez so better don't do it.
  13. @Shark007: That's good news, but I think I will stay on my method unless we find out a way to choose the "don't show" option unattended.
  14. I like my method b/c I can live without the volume icon, but I will try to help you finding a way to just delete that "remove hardware" icon and no more. @Shark007: Maybe you could use regshot and see if there is some change in the registry when you select the "don't show the icon" option. I would do it if I could but I don't know why even restoring the hacked files, that icon doesn't appear anymore in my tray. It's gone.
  15. Do the test I am Cub! Small and shy you love affection. As lively as a barrel of monkeys , you are loved by one and all .
  16. Just a tip: You won't see that icon anymore but if you want to use the "safely remove hardware" function, you can use this command in the "run" box: %SystemRoot%\System32\RUNDLL32.EXE shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll
  17. Really usefull images for those who ask what is xpize. It's a huge evolution from standard windows.
  18. Solved! It was a "system file protection" problem. I got two reg tweaks from the forum to disable it, but they were wrong and it didn't work. Now I have found the correct one. Thx to all who tried to help.
  19. @Kenny McCormick: Great desktop view, simple and smart background and good VS too.
  20. Well, I have learned a lot here and now I have something to give to MSFN's community. I have just put the file in $oem$/$$/system32 of my unattended. Topic solved!
  21. I have the solution. I resource edited the file stobject.dll and deleted the famous icon, not transparent, just deleted it. Then restart and no tracks of it, no empty space in the tray, it just has gone. I'm not gonna post the file because I use the spanish xp and there will be incompatibilities with you using the english version.
  22. I have tried to delete hotplug.dll, then the "safely remove hardware" doesn't work but the icon is still there.
