  1. Welcome!
  2. So, having an opinion is not a "real reason" to post? You can allways lock the thread to avoid this
  3. 5.1 it's not extremely old, it's just from Sep 1 2005

  8. Then, there is the opinion of digital computers being too complicated to develop that much, and that maybe an analog computer or a mixture is the way to go, such as those analog robotics insects(remember?); imitating life behaviour. New biological robots build themselves miniature bots can even correct their own mistakes: http://msnbc.msn.com/id/9516845/ I think only time will define what is possible and what not...
  9. I removed much more components this time with nLite 1.0 RC1, and now XPize does not install/show the Luna+Royale theme; everything else is replaced tough. What does XPize needs not to be removed? Some service besides the Themes service? Edit: Uninstalling and reinstalling solved the problem.

  14. If you just remove the /noguiboot /bootlogo from the boot.ini file then the custom boot screen will be simply not shown. Boot.INI Options Reference: http://www.sysinternals.com/Information/bootini.html Just edit your boot.ini and leave it as it was before.

  17. That's from http://www.the hotfix.net/ Why I can't write that URL alltogheter? It's funny seems like they did spam in this forum before, see: http://www.s.p.a.m.net/
  18. Do what canuckerfan suggests. In my case I copied that DOTNETFX folder from the free SP2 CD from Microsoft and also updated a bunch of other files in my original gold XP CD with this CD. After doing a backup, that option to install framework worked. Unfortunately seems that Microsoft is not giving away this SP2 CD anymore.

    Hello

Hello mjonus I'm from Argentina and kinda new to this nice forum too. Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  20. I can see that you have a typo there in your [unattended] section, actually is Repartition not Repartion
  21. Also you can try with Cmos password recovery tools 4.6: CmosPwd decrypts password stored in cmos used to access BIOS SETUP. Works with the following BIOSes: - ACER/IBM BIOS - AMI BIOS - AMI WinBIOS 2.5 - Award 4.5x/4.6x/6.0 - Compaq (1992) - Compaq (New version) - IBM (PS/2, Activa, Thinkpad) - Packard Bell - Phoenix 1.00.09.AC0 (1994), a486 1.03, 1.04, 1.10 A03, 4.05 rev 1.02.943, 4.06 rev 1.13.1107 - Phoenix 4 release 6 (User) - Gateway Solo - Phoenix 4.0 release 6 - Toshiba - Zenith AMI With CmosPwd, you can backup, restore and kill cmos NB: AWARD 4.50 have a backdoor, a generic password : AWARD_SW (d8on for one of the short version) SOYO motherboard have "SY_MB" as master password for Award 4.51. CmosPwd give equivalent passwords for Award BIOS, not original one. http://www.cgsecurity.org/cmospwd.html
  22. Quick off topic question: a lot of these themes don't have a proper .theme file, how do I create them?
  23. I runned xxxxx.exe /x C:\TEMP just like Hatefulsorrow suggested and it extracted this list of files: %EXENAME% %UNINSTALL_PATH% fsi_install.ico fsi_uninstall.ico HLsetup2.exe NNWDAB638.EXE TXPSHOPPER.exe Looking at the "PK" header of the %EXENAME% file I realized this is the .ZIP file of the theme, so I just opened it with WinRAR and voilà.
  24. I just installed all the themes I liked, but without selecting to install the 4 bundled adwares. Then I saved the .zip files with the themes in C:\Program files\themexp\Themexp.org to another location. I uninstalled and no trace of adware. I'm trying to find another way to extract for you guys.
