There's many programs to read/write from HFS+ though. Even though this particular one isn't free, I find that MacDrive is the most convenient since it even mounts the HFS+ partition as a drive in Windows Explorer. I'm sure there's also some freeware software that offers similar functionality, but this is the only one I've tried. For a non-boot drive, that G5 system with similar disk space usage contains 3 fragments. Keep in mind this is without using any fragmentation software.
