I got mine to around 85 mb iso. Comitt was also around 30 mb. I havnt been modding fo a while, started a new job.

I have used it and then reformatted HD to install regular xp. You will be much better off with a conventional xp nlited.

I used to have comcast internet rated at 6 mb. It was fast and had no issues. To save money I went to windstream rated at 2.5 mb. I use no router but it seems I experience packet loss. I know this because when I called windstream helpdesk they told me. Is packet loss on my end or theres? What is packet loss? Is it fixable?

In the 80's I had a sansui 8080 receiver rated at 85 watts per chanel. Now I have a sony rated at 120 watts per chanel. The sansui will out play the sony in every way even though it is rated less wattage. How come?

Yess, they are linux. The series 1 dvr can be had cheap on ebay without HD. HD must be added later. These can be programed like a vcr. How hard would it be to flash it to accept the free programs from above?

Just wondering Could a person take a series 1 DVD (a dumb dvr) maybe flash it with 1 of the above programs and make it a free smart DVR?

Yep and use hfslip to remove componants. Then use nlite to slim it even more.

Just use hfslip to intergrate DX9. I had no issues with it. Using both nlite and hfslip. I got a very stable useful iso around 80 mb with windows 2000. It used very low amounts af ram and was very secure.

With nlite there is a tweak for large disk support.

Has anyone made a dvr? I am interested. I am to cheap to buy a subscription to TiVo. But I have plenty of old computers around here. I heard a series 1 dvr doesnt need TiVo. Is there a way to fix a series 1 to do all the amazing stuff free?

Which archiver will make cabs to be intergrated into the cd IE driver.cab and be opened during installation?

Since seagate bought maxtor, has maxtors quality gone up or has seagate gone down?

I have found that ConvertXtoDVD along with DVD43 can do most things very well.
