The option for using minlogon instead of winlogon is useful but I dont think Nuhi is going to have it in nlite. Myself I dont go for the size of windows but for efficientcy. Most of the times they are the same. If you slipstreamed minlogon into instaqll CD please let me know how you did it.

Is threre an easy way to remove the service pack from windows 2000. There is a tweak I want to do but it must be done on windows 2000 gold. After the tweak then the service pack can be applied.

Was this acceptable replacment for a land line? Is skype the omly good one? Sound quality?

My year is almost up with windstream. The service I got was terrible. I am going to go back with comcast. It is higher but to help with the cost I am going to cancel my home phone. I will get a prepay phone but I want to get a usb adapter for my phone in my house. OK my question is what does it take to make internet calls through my computer? I dont mean companies like vonage etc.

When IE core is removed any browser which uses IE core will not work. FF uses gecko and doesnt need IE or core to work. Paying careful attention over the removed componants may help not break your install. I have used both Nlite and Vorck method and sometimes a combination of both. I remove IE and core for secutity reasons and the OS runs a little faster. Add/Remove programs will not work if core is removed and system restore wont work Big deal. Secondary apps work better anyway.

I tried it. Its OK but needs more work. Seems to have more memory leaks than FF

ATM it has a sonydvd--pioneer dvd r--1024 mb ram--120 gb samsung HD soon to be changed to a 320 seagate--ati 5000 series video card 256 ddr--sb sound--amd 2100+. Its old but runs good and will upgrade as needed or wanted

I was thinking about air flow and cooling.
