You need to figure out which server your Provider uses and if it has support for asp. If they use iis then this function is already built into the server..,but if not you will need to find a support engine, eg chileasp! Sunil.. ps. the server gives the text portion of the asp file so it could be they have the mime setup wrong..

The only way i believe you can do this is by using winnt32.exe from the cd to specify the programs you want to intall.. You will need to create a boot floppy that has cd support, then change to X:\I386\winnt32.exe where x is the drive letter of the cd rom assigned by the boot floppy. Please let me know if this worked. Hey dtmunir, welcome to MSFN. Ok here we go, the %systemdrive% basically means the partition in which your current os is installed, so you would need to place all files there in the ROOT eg. the root of the c drive is C:\.. 2 This will need to be used in conjuntion with the oem preinstall switch in the winnt.sif script you would have created when you wanted to do a unattended installation. YOu will need to place all the files into a folder called $oem$ in the root of the cd, and create a script file called cmdlines.txt and place the code in the file, however you cannot launch the setups from the cmdlines.txt file you need to use batch file to do this see examples 1. 2. cmdlines.txt _____________ ".\WMP.bat" use the quotation marks WMP.bat ______________ .\wmp.exe [strings] you can place the executable anywhere ybut you will need to specify the path.. Hey ArronXp, if you are looking for the monitors go with the CRT they have the edge when it comes to image quality and most certainly compliments your grahics card, and they tend to be cheaper, but if you are looking for mobility go with the TFT. Thanks for net user command line command, this will help me streamline my Cd.. ArronXp, is it possible that the enable\disable registry settings for the services be used from the cd, although the services have not been started as yet, and is so wouldn't the services then overwrite them the first time they are started?.. 1. As for your first question there is no way to configure the services, because the pc has not been actually booted into the win32 environment, hence services are not available. 2. There is no such utility to my knowledge, if you finf one please let us know 3. You can set this by creating and unattended setup script by using the deploy tools found in the SUPPORT\TOOLS folder, use the file deploy.cab and read the file deply.chm. look at the script [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword= EncryptedAdminPassword= OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=70 OemSkipWelcome=1 the first line shows that there are no passwords assigned to the admin account, thereby allowing automatic login for this account. You should take the card out and reseat it in a another slot, then start in safe mode remove the drivers and restart, see it windows will detect the card, or if it will start.. Sunil

Are you sure that the drive does not work in W2K3, because i get the same error messages in windows xp but the drive works properly.. Sunil

Its pretty easy to make the cd bootable the link given is basically how to make a slipstreamed windows xp cd, but it gives instructions on how to make the cd bootable again, i doubt it has changed for windows 2003. Link Sunil

You can install windows.net server on the same machine as windows XP without incident, however with windows 2000 you must install the older os first and then the newer, example if you want to install windows 2000 and xp you need to install windows 2000 first and then you can install windows xp.. It seems that for some reason you cannot install windows xp then 2000, because as Crispy said it can mess stuff up... Sunil

tuff, you should try and do a reinstall, this does not remove any of your files or so on, but instead reinstalls windows, this may prove to be the solution you are looking for..... Sunil

Hi, what are the specs of the computer you run, also you said that all logins after the first are fast, this is expected however if you have assigned roles to the server, especially a dns server, it takes some time to login because the server needs to connect to the internet. So please reply so we can sort out the prob.. Sunil
