dont know about usage over a network share, but usually if th eother batch file is in static drive you would just add call <location of other batchfile>\<name of second batcfile>.cmd and it would run the second one from inside the first.

are you just adding hotfixes with RVM or are you adding addons as well. I found that adding the Ext2 & Ext3 addon caused an error in my install.

php is easy to use when dealing with mysql, and if you are not totally sure of the commands you need i would suggest installing apache+php+mysql+phpMyAdmin on a computer first. Using phpMyAdmin you can create/modify/delete etc on any database. It also gives you a breakdown of the sql command implemented e.g. $query = "DELETE FROM lic WHERE rid LIKE 'batman' "; in phpMyadmin it will print in the page DELETE FROM lic WHERE rid LIKE 'batman' If you really want to make life easy consider using XAMPP for Linux (it was called LAMPP but was renamed. it stands for Linux + Apache +MvSQL + Perl + PHP. This installs on any linux distro and has apache+perl+php+mysql alreday configured to work with each other.

i tried to extract quicktimealt178.exe, the quick time alternative version 1.78. Universal extractor just sits with a "Scanning window" for over 20 minutes, i know its not down to the speed of my computer (Core2 Duo E6600). you are better using software like installrite or installshield to monitor the installation and create a silent install. If you use a keystroke program you leave your system vunerable to outside sources. The software above (installrite is free by the way) will do the entire process for you.

is it a temp folder you create? usually to delete a folder you would use rm /s /q <foldername> This will remove the folder and all files and folders inside it. e.g. rm /s /q c:\temp so in RunOnce it would be REG ADD %KEY%\z099 /VE /D "Cleaning Up and Rebooting" /f REG ADD %KEY%\z099 /V 1 /D "rm /s /q c:\temp" /f

alternative lite has only the required stuff in it. This removes the media player bundled with the codecs in the normal install, but this is the only difference. Everything in the lite install is required, like codecs plgins etc, because the codecs wont function without the rest of the stuff (you need a plugin to allow the web browsers to use the codec)

omit the sp2 slipstreaming. If i were you i would add small amounts of functionality at a time, then test in a virtual machine like virtual box. This way you can test each part of the unattended install as it is intergtrated. I was having alot of trouble with my unattended, and rebuilt yesterday like above. I found one error i was recieving came from an add-on pack used with ryanvm integrator, then after i omitted this addon i found an error with my registry tweaks file (to do with file shortcuts). But by doing all the steps in one go its impossible to find the flaws (i make a copy of the source foder, then add more functionality. if it works this becomes the new source directory and i add more functionality to a copy of it. This process goes on until i have everything working correctly).

sorry i should have explained. the hex editing is only required if you extract the files into seperate folders. if you extract everything into the root of the disk the no hex editing is required. The problem with this is when different iso's have the same filenames or folder names, it will overwrite the data when you extract them all. the hex editing is not that difficult (its explained in the tutorial), and is only required to change the bootfile to tell it where the files are now located. The turorial also tells how to add erdcommander etc to the disk without a clash. the hex edit is required when the files are not on the root of the cd, like the bootfile expects. but if all the files are in the original folder tree, like on the iso, then you dont need to hex edit.

follow the multiboot guide here. basically you need to extract each iso to a folder of its own, and extract the bootfiles from the iso's placing them in the root of the cd/dvd. then hex edit each boot file to boot the correct directory (like in the multiboot, for winxp the folder info changes from i386 to pro1). Then add a menu like cd shell to allow you to select which to boot

from the pic you want to use apache and php I would suggest the db servers have MySql or PostGreSQL, there are free and php has connectivity to both. Then use a php script that runs from a cron job to export the slave databases and insert them as tables in the master db. The overall functionality is still down to you, but it could be an esasy implementation.

Dexter-he could do the first part, and btw a CRC can be patched in the archive header. Also CRC values in the archive header are taken from the file contents not the folder names, so the file would still be the same length. Also i never said it was easy, i said it could be done

you cant editthe original archive, but there are other methods like binary patching (not giving specifics just in case). The RAR archive saves the folder name and file name so its not possible to edit the existing archive, but you could generate a new archive with the correct folder name. (still no specifics) Sorry i have to leave some for your imagination but hard to know how much info i can provide

Rule 1 of the forum rules although what you request is not illegal, it is information on how to deal with a problem in winrar, it could be seen that by providing the answer we are in fact helping you do somethin illegal. The answer you seek is also very complex, as far as i am aware you cannot simply change the folder name (to do with how the file is stored in the archive). But there may be a solution to your problem, if the mods ensure us we can help you. Not trying to stop you inany way, nor pointthe finger, just trying to cover our own backs.

if the leds arent lighting i would check the psu. i had a computer the other day (i was fixing it for a friend) that wouldnt even boot he bios info, it turned out the psu was running but there was a short between 2 pins on a molex that switched the psu off after a small period (psu's are small switch mode power supplies with a current limiter circuit. if the current draw is too much the psu will shut off)

explain what you mean, do you want it to have a constant value or use it as a constant reference (like a variable that will be called by numerous equations). if its the latter you can name the cell and use the cell name (so if you insert rows or coulmns the equations will still function. if you use a cell name like I3 etc in an equation, the functionality is broken when yuo change the sheet layout in any manner)
