very interesting question......it seems that registering wmpband.dll has no effect ..... i look into system32 and sysWOW64 and found regsvr32 in both folders....

it s easy as u said with only one thing: u have to provide a xp pro serial during the setup. in rest i dont see any problems even if i like the fresh installs.

here is a nice tool that can extract the driver u need from the vga cd. http://msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=35869 then u can integrate the driver via nlite.
