  4. Microsoft Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs (WinFLP) Code Name Eiger Microsoft Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs is a Windows-based operating system designed for customers who have older computers running earlier operating systems and who are not in a position to purchase new hardware. This operating system is available only to Microsoft Software Assurance customers and helps you get the most from your older hardware, thereby reducing your total cost of ownership. This Software Assurance benefit provides improvements to security and manageability to reduce the strain on your IT team, improve end-user productivity, and close security gaps. Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs is based on Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 (SP2), enabling you to upgrade to the security and stability of the Microsoft Windows XP platform. This eases the transition to Windows Vista Enterprise when you eventually replace your computers. Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs is not a general-purpose operating system. It is designed to work with the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection client or third-party clients such as the Citrix ICA client. In addition, it allows for a limited number of workloads to be executed locally, including security software, management software, terminal emulation software, document viewers, and the .NET Framework. Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs (WinFLP) requires: # A minimum of 611 MB of free hard drive space. Actual requirements will vary based on your system configuration and the applications and features you choose to install. Installing all optional components requires 1151 MB of disk space. These requirements are reported on the screen as you select options in the Setup wizard. Additional hard disk space may be required if you are installing over a network. Also, you should reserve additional space for future updates and service packs. # A computer with 233 megahertz or higher processor clock speed (300 MHz is recommended); Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor is recommended. # 64 MB of RAM. 256 MB of RAM is recommended.

  7. i test the iso of windows xp with vmware
  8. i have this problem... lsass.exe: A write operation was attempted to a volume after it was dismounted
  9. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=71026 Minlogon nLite add-on, rev. 02 Instructions: integrate in nLite as normal hotfix. Note that I only tested this add-n with WFP disabled. I do not think this add-on will ever work if you keep WFP enabled. Once the nLited WinXP is installed, you will be running with minlogon automatically. No more registry hacking, no messing with winlogon executable, no reboots. If you are perfectictonist like me, you might want to delete winlogon.--- file from SYSTEM32 folder as this is leftover that can not be deleted from within add-on itself. You also might want to delete any remaining user account, including Administrator one, as only Default user is used with minlogon. great LagunaICE http://sweb.cz/atarian/MINLOGON.CAB
  10. step 4..... you wont be able to install any software after this point or change any of your settings.
  11. i want to be a beta tester...
  12. sorry for the english but i have a problem http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en the download doesn t start from XPEFFI.exe.......
