trillian can be a dog at times with its errors but thats life .. when its works its good but i think they got a tab overkill with all the enw stuff they added to ver 3 only had a quick look and play with it ...

i got a problem myself with the office one but i did this just made a ofd1.bat in the root of the cd and put the commond in ther to run i try about 10 or so things to get it to work in WPI so i gave up in the end but about the rest i cant help you dont have them good luck with it ps.. have u tryed the ver 4.3 or what it was did it work there ?

i like Gene6 FTP Server its supports Vhost FTP sites like if you want to use the same FTP server box as a local FTP server you can have it setup that way where you can have a outside world as the def domain and than a local domain like username : asd :: outside username : admin@LAN :: local network user type of deal

i like Trillian its easy to use and i found that one out there before i found gaim .. but both are nice

i know how its feels to work to in the command line console but after awhile you slowly get there but i think using a linux OS that only has got the console only helps there are some new desktop / windows managers out there that are a lot lighter on than KDE

i tryed both ver of smothwall didt like the interface layout its too hard to find but there is a good mod ver of iPcop out there its about 80 mb its got a heap of mods pre install and a nice interface cant remember it PS .. do you use the SSH access to it ?

i only used it once or twice when i had the 64 bit ver of windows installed its a real dog to learn how to use it i just find a software firewall appz n uninstall the Nvidia one coz i never got to work it out good luck with it
