  1. Found a minor Dark Magic bug. When right clicking on a Directory Opus 13 floating toolbar (a toolbar that exists outside of the main Opus window, can live on the desktop or dock to the edge of the screen) while Opus is in Dark Mode (a new feature for Opus 13 that is implemented similarly to SAB, win32 property sheets are dark et cetera, great minds think alike 😉) the context menu comes up with mismatched colors.
  2. You are right, it is Networx! @Tihiy as always you are the man! I looked and there was a patch released for Networx and it's now fixed!! This wasn't even your problem and you really helped me. Thanks so much as always. Grateful for you!! Edit: Spoke too soon, it started happening again. I opened a report with the Networx devs. Edit 1: I figured out Networx has a dll (networx.dll) that is loaded to help with the taskbar graph on Windows 11. This can be renamed or deleted with some minor side effects that don't seem to matter on the classic taskbar. That has fixed this issue. I passed this info on to the devs at SoftPerfect, they are pretty responsive and hopefully can fix it.
  3. Hey @Tihiy I frequently have this issue. I connect to a machine over RDP frequently (it's a VM on a headless server) and this happens upon connection and requires an explorer restart to fix. Is this something that can be patched in a future update. It's been happening for quite a few versions now. I can also repro it by resizing the taskbar icons in startallbackcfg.exe.
  4. I believe it's in the installer. If not there is a scheduled task. Just disable it.
  5. @Tihiy When installing the beta I get a Windows smartscreen warning. I know it's a false positive but I wanted to let you know just in case there is a code signing certificate issue. It looks like the certificate is new. Thanks!!
  6. Try a repair install first.
  7. Now I wonder what @Tihiy's plans for the taskbar are.
  8. Bud, it $8.99. I think you'll live.
  9. Who asks for a refund from a one man shop developer who offers a 100 day free trial and sells his incredibly complex software that should be a subscription based model for at least $30-$50 a year due to the constant updates and complexity for $5. If you're not satisfied with the software you probably shouldn't be using a computer.
  10. I would email support but I doubt it. The software is like 5 bucks with a generous trial.
  11. That's what I just said to do. Ie. shortcut to c:\windows\system32\notepad.exe "c:\path\to\file.txt"
  12. Make a shortcut to notepad.exe and add the file as an argument then pin that? I mean this is just basic how to use Windows.
  13. Try going to shell:start menu or shell:common start menu and dragging the shortcut onto the start button. I found this bug when pinning PWAs and that workaround helped me.
  14. Hey at least you HAVE the ribbon lol. That means they didn't strip out the code for it. Something probably just got moved around and broke being that it's Canary.
  15. I believe that is a bug related to Dark Magic.
  16. The date WITH the small taskbar!? This is madness. @Tihiy you are the man!!
  17. Win 7 is peak Start Menu. Anything else is overkill. At that point use a dock application for more shortcuts.
  18. @adacom This bit in the changelog may help you with tclock. I don't use it so I'm not sure.
  19. @Tihiy as always thank you!
  20. The crashes when connecting to my RDP session are totally fixed now but instead of it crashing the Networx taskbar window duplicates itself off to the left:
  21. If you're using 3.7 beta I believe the new systray doesn't support msstyles.
  22. What is the use case for the Win 10 control center? The Win 11 one is really a better fit for pretty much every use case and can be combined with legacy flyouts. I doubt he is going to implement something like this that many people won't use.
  23. I'm so sorry! I imported the .reg key like you said. I created c:\dumps. I crashed multiple times but I'm not getting a .dmp file. I confirmed in Eventvwr that explorer did crash however. Is there any other thing I can do to get you a crash dump? I finally got a dmp file. After playing around a little bit more it seems to be dpi related. I was able to make it happen more consistently by lowering my DPI from 150% to 125%, connecting to my RDP session. Leaving the RDP session. Raising my DPI back to 150% and reconnecting to my RDP session. The taskbar did a bunch of weird stuff and explorer crashed. This time I got a dmp file. The crash when first connecting to my RDP session seems inconsistent and based on the graphical glitch seemed like a DPI scaling related issue. Here is the link to the dmp file. I packed it in a 7z archive to compress it. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmeKwJQZ3JWKhN9fQcFBjWTjjTgZTw?e=X6m5tl
