its not really a real big problem its just hotter then a intel chip set u can fix this anyways by just buying fans or any kooling device

First of all a amd athlon 2.8GHZXP is really a 2.6GHZ but just runs like a 2.8GHZ pentium So if u wana get eather a 2.5 pentium or a AMD AMD kicks a** all the way except for the cooling problem but u can fix that of course with fans or water cooling

Depends.... There are several different points to what makes each better than others. Price: AMD Temperatures: Intel Performance: Some say intel some say AMD. I have owned both and do not have any complaints about any of them. Altho I like my pc to run cool, so I stick with Intel, but for your best bang for the buck AMD wins that one. lies lies lies...AMD is better performance if ur planning 2 get the best'st of best chip out id get a intel but if u wana get a older model like a 2.5GHZ id get the AMD bcuz the performance can b a 200mhz difference my 1.0ghz AMD runs like a 1.4 pentium 4 but yea chips heat up quickly

Hey you can take the soundcard out and reseat it, that may help. If you have a diagnostic program for your card use it, it may help to identify the problem. Sunil id do that after i remove then install the drivers

that happend 2 me once u can fix it by uninstalling the drivers then installing drivers for ur sound card if that dont work then do what i did format again haha

lies lies lies u can fix this this by getting rid of te third party drivers and installing updated drivers 4 ur hardware just explorer stays a bit buggy

Is there a program i can use 2 overclock my athlon1.0ghz ??? or do i have 2 do sum s*** with the chips ??? if theres a program can u give me the link thanxz or if theres a website that tells u how 2 overclock it by doing sum s*** 2 the chip that would be appreciated as well
