  1. It's still very old. Let's see, 11th of January, 2017 is over 8 years old, not to mention it's a Quadro card. And you were going to stream on Supermium with your cards!?! You'd be outright blocked on Netflix. lol The driver support was dropped in 2019, 6 years ago, it's hopeless. Here's an old article, and even then they already demanded GTX 1050 (which still gets the drivers, unlike all of yours). GTX 1050 4GB is only for the poorest members of our society. https://www.ncesc.com/gaming-pedia/what-gpu-does-netflix-use/
  2. Is a form of LED, VERY bright!!! It compensates the poor colours with insane brightness. Pros don't use it. Now the riddle is over. They are generally for folks on tight budget. "OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays use individual pixels that emit their own light, allowing for better contrast and true blacks, while LED (Light Emitting Diode) displays use a backlight to illuminate pixels, which can result in less contrast. OLEDs generally offer superior picture quality, but LED displays are often brighter and more affordable." Basically, their contrast is TOO high. But visually looks "better", but it's an illusion, Auto-generated based on listed sources.
  3. On github, it doesn't say the fix related only to dark mode.
  4. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186741-firefox-and-chromium-running-on-windows-7-by-e3kskskoy7wqk/?do=findComment&comment=1278904 They quit making CCFL around 2007, around 18 years ago, so yeah it's LED. you said it's "less than 10 y.o." Shades of white and proper shadows are only visible on a good, properly calibrated, expensive LED, which is LESS than 5, not "less than 10 years old" like yours, but then again, I don't blame you, it's just strange why at least 5 people here see that, and you don't.
  5. "piercing white" and "acid blue" all come from the overall increased brightness and digital vibrance, is the word overblown clear to you? That's what Supermium has in terms of colours. But it can be not so noticeable on e-waste, 10 years old LED monitors. LED is designed to be used for no more than 3-5 years, they awfully degrade overtime, much faster than CCFL and irreversibly kill your retina, so the fact you finally opened up about having a near 10 y.o. LED display is even worse than the alleged 20 years old Dell 2407. On one hand, it possibly took a lot of courage to admit about having such a monitor, on the other - a bit shallow, considering the fact you knew there's a "crew" watching, lol.
  6. Only one English language is proper, the one they speak in England, everything else is a dialect. Removing letters from words or saying elevator instead of lift doesn't make it another, standalone language, ir's still a dialect, and a very odd one. Not to mention rather new. I don't "insist" on anything, I just assumed it'd be more convenient to use normal, not upside down dates and normal. internationally recognised spelling. It's your choice if you don't want to. Then don't whine when we spot you over a mile on github or anywhere else. Look how your favourite Supermium author spells, or the iconic @AstroSkipper, Dave and my dear friend @Jody Thornton. BTW, just so you know, on joint NATO missions, we all communicated in English-English, not the American dialect.
  7. Not sure what it is. Chrome Post War Apocalypse Launcher, maybe? Search for it, they say it could be Chrome's malware/spyware/virus. Clam Win found a virus there. Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/168wkt2/antivirus_scanner_found_virus_in_chrome/
  8. I did a bit of digging, and it seems this one is Chrome's spyware - collecting statistics on what media you "engage" with. Looks like studies "...from a user's individual browsing behaviour..." https://www.chromium.org/audio-video/autoplay/autoplay-pre-seeding-in-chrome/
  9. Sounds a bit racist, why would you not? I'm French, but I have en-GB locale, in this new modern World one's gotta be more open. It's not like I suggested something you wouldn't want or don't understand. Besides, it will give you the proper date format, apart from proper spelling.
  10. You can also safely delete the odd locales. All except en-GB, French, Dutch, Danish and German. Norwegian? Not sure if we have Norwegians on the forum... If for some reason, mostly by mistake, your PC is set to US locale, just change it to GB.
  11. Garbage files/folders you can safely delete from this browser. Sites work, video plays without 'em, logging in also works. Faster startup. ("gut feeling"). lol. What are these? Who the Hell knows. chrome_proxy.exe chrome_pwa_launcher.exe chrome_wer.dll d3dcompiler_47.dll eventlog_provider.dll Extensions IwaKeyDistribution libEGL.dll libGLESv2.dll MEIPreload notification_helper.exe PrivacySandboxAttestationsPreloaded VisualElements vk_swiftshader.dll vk_swiftshader_icd.json vulkan-1.dll
  12. You mean spent? Because it sounded you're not going to do it any more. I'm very grateful you helped to bust down the odd Supermium brightness with proof, and its' clearly seen on your screengrabs. The fact you don't see it on your alleged 40 years old Dell is not relevant, so it's not "Circle", there's nothing to go around in circles about. We see it. and it's enough, so nothing was done in vain. Here I asked you: did you notice, and no need to open up a full-blown investigation about this browser. Just a quick answer would be enough. Thanks.
  13. He says he's a Chinese student, did you notice odd behaviour, I mean, like we saw in the old russochino repacks of EE360? Incoming traffic and whatnot?
  14. It doesn't even start on Windows 7 without the "Platform update", so thanks but no. Version 136 for Vista (non portable) does. Hence my question to add the portable flags.
  15. Oh, and Zero problems with brightness, I mean Zero, yay! Absolutely marvellous font rendering on Vista and even 7 (without SP), not sure about your severely outdated 1607, I don't use it. I only tried version 136, what is the point of using outdated, when we have the new one? By the time Supermium "fixes" the bugs, what year it will be? 3056?
  16. Well, if you're willing to try, try the Vista release suggested by @ED_Sln. It doesn't have Google APIs at all, at least what the author claims, so technically Ungoofed, and it's version 136, whereas Supermium is the old 132. https://msfn.org/board/topic/186741-firefox-and-chromium-running-on-windows-7-by-e3kskskoy7wqk/#findComment-1278872
  17. From my short testings, I already see - this browser is much better and more stable than Supermium and CentBrowser.
  18. It would be nice to do while it's still in Beta, in other words, we would like a fully portable, and better Unghouled browser.
  19. --disable-machine-id --disable-encryption Don't work. Sadly. @ED_Sln, could you ask the developer to implement them? Thanks.
  20. Thanks. Yes it opens up on 7 without SP1! I tried 1 extension, it worked. Need to test more extensively. EDIT. NO odd brightness issues like in Supermium, no icons issues,
  21. A very interesting investigation, no less than the French investigation into Musk! I'd want to add, Win 7 also creates that crappy "logic" partition on your additional HDD installed in the computer at the time of the installation, Unlike XP and Vista.
  22. I now use Googel "safe" DNS. I'll maybe change them later, but for now stick with them. And it wouldn't explain why browser works, and IDM is blocked. Slowly but surely, we need to bankrupt Musk by refusing his goods like X. I once bankrupted a chain of electronics in my region, I simply stopped purchasing there, and I purchased a lot! Also, while they were still alive, I over-abused the free cellophane bags they gave out, I took them in tonnes, they had to spend a lot to resupply them, and they are taxed here high (eco tax). So, take your pick on how to bankrupt Musk.
  23. @Jody Thornton is a trusted member, moi fellow Canadian friend, there's no reason not to trust Jody. Are you sure you write about the 132 R1 re;ease?
  24. "Add-ons that can change your browser's settings without your consent or steal your information have become increasingly common." You don't say! lol. "Wolves that can attack you in the nearest forest without your consent or steal your head have become increasingly angry." You don't say! lol. Didn't even bother to write smth more alluring and catchy... Just a "polite" excuse to force everyone to install from their store, like Opera did somewhere in 2018. But then again, I always wonder who would dig into such crap, who? That's why D.Draker doesn't bother with "secure" updates.
  25. Looks good in Vista, I use it. And how would you know it, you don't use, never used Vista.
