jumper i just share the internet/hotspot, but without sucess

I ONLY have a hotspot, with USB cable

the 1st laptop have windows 10. the 2nd have the windows 98. both have Ethernet drivers installed. so i can share the internet and connect the 2 laptops using the network cable. how can i connect the 2 laptops?

to be honest i only need update the standard BIOS and not the graphic card "4. forget about the whole thing, so you don't come back tomorrow asking how to fix your laptop to work again " but works and i learned so much

i have the ACER Aspire 1690 laptop.... using Win98. how can i update the BIOS(if theres some update)?

- on Explorer menu we have: View - Explorer Bar - Folders. the folder tree is showed, until we close the window... can be permanent? - on Browser Folder dialog, can we show the New Folder button?

Até least now i can play games( video and audio drivers works) and i can use pena. ONLY I don't test the NTFS for now 😉 Now i must create a new topic for update BIOS 😉 I need more 1 correction. From previous post: can we convert XP drivers to Win98?

correct me 1 thing on win98\me: do i need 'remove safe' before unplug the pen? or i can unplug it, by hand, directly?

now works fine... what i did: 1 - on Driver Manager, we open the 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' list; 2 - Remove all on the list( one by one); 3 - install the NUSB36e(or other similar): https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Use-USB-Drives-With-Windows-98/; 4 - reboot the computer(i did it manually, because that window for reboot wasn't showed); 5 - after use the pen and now works.. my mistake, was install the Chipset drivers before install the USB drivers now my problem was resolved on USB and understand why i was wrong on doing it in time i will play some games for see the sound. thank you so much for all to all... thank you

i'm sorry, but anyone knows some USB driver for i use pen and others external devices? i did it before... some failling like now and others work.. and i don't know what i miss can anyone advice me or i must format the laptop again?

Dsound.dll and on Control Painel errors have to do with sound driver. error code 192 when i try install the Conexant AC-Link Audio driver I format again and again hehehe. I install the audio driver without problems, but more late i Will test. The USB driver is confuse me: what is the driver hehehe. I have the driver só more late i Will resolve. i have another error: "can't start the DSOUND.DLL", these error is showed when i enter on windows.... is these a sound error or Directx error?

- the video was installed correctly(searching manually on a folder).. now works fine and tested on Directx 9. - the audio driver detects the Conexant AC-Link Audio and try install... but, before finish, i get these error message: "Error installing device: Windows was unable to install the PCI Multimedia Audio Device device." i don't know why the audio driver isn't installed thanks for all

i'm using the version 7. but i see some problems: on Control Panel i can't open the 'Multimedia' and 'Sounds'... i can't install the version 9 above it... and i can't uninstall... so what you can advice me?
