More late i Will test. Why the Win98 UBCD: -isnt update with '/p i' on setup? I tested a bridge error. - isnt update with new device manager? -isnt update with some drivers program?

I get the Acer aspire 1690 winxp, but i can't install them on win98. What you can advice?

speaking on win 95/98/ME/2000: the problem will be, most of time, the drivers... the best is when we know the driver ID and Vendor.... so how can we get that values? we need use another program?

i'm trying install the Windows ME on laptop Acer Aspire 1690... the installation was done... but when try to detect all hardware, i get several problems and a error message for i undock the computer and it gets an invalid brigde.... can anyone explain to me what i can do?

yes the SciTech Display Doctor 7.x... i can install it without problems... my problem, only happens, when i select the SciTech Display Doctor 7.x driver... if i came back and select the previous graphic driver, i will get the network again... but the SciTech Display Doctor 7.x is the best driver that i have found(at least i don't get the famous Blue Screen.... like the VBempx drivers(32MB, 64MB and 128 MB)

how can i get the drivers id's on windows 98?

i installed Windows 98 on Virtual Box 5.2, but i get 2 main problems: 1 - i can't test the Sound Blaster 16 sound on directx 9.0c.... why these problem? is the driver version or something? i used the driver from Windows 98 CD and even i found 1 from internet... but allways with some problems 2 - why i get several time for enter on Windows... it can take more or less 10 minutes... it's the CPU limite problem?(i found the FIX95CPU.zip... but it's for Windows 95, and i can't use it on Windows 98... i had tested)

just asking: why not creating a batch file(or similar) and using a DLL language, like google or other free, translator that translate English to another language?

why the updates\hotfixs aren't compatible with language? my Windows is PT-BR, after use the Auto-patcher will be english on some(explorer, start menu and the Shutdown Window). Can i plug-in the external HDD with 500GB's?

i'm sorry, yesterday i was out of these forum... maybe forum problems or something i'm using windows 10.. the VMware is 12.. i can't install the last version, because my CPU(duo) don't support it.. at least was the message from the installer. but i belive these problem have to do with Auto-patcher and SP3.. yes i used both... maybe some hotfix\update is conflicted

jaclaz: the problem is more: - the USB driver is unstable... everytime that i turn on, i must see the USB drivers and i get '!'... - i install the NTFS program\drivers, but when i click(not double click), on 'My Computer', the windows freezes and i must reboot or turn off. if i use the fat32 i don't get problems.. unless the USB driver have the '!'. yes i use VMware and i installed the tools

yes the problem was fixed.. i installed the Internet Explorer 6.0 Portuguese(like the Auto-Pach and PS3 hotfixes\updates) and now the Explorer is Portuguese. i never thot the 'My Computer' opened the Internet Explorer for we see the folders and files. now the 1 and 2 are fixed.. yes doing these now i can see the 'as web page'. - the 3 i must use an external program for it and add it on StartUp menu: http://smallvoid.com/article/transparent-icon-text.html now i must fix the DirectX limitations and the Graphic Card drivers and open my external hard drive 250GB's in NTFS... what you can advice me?

did i miss something? the Explorer that i'm thinking, on 'My Computer', isn't Explorer, but Internet Explorer? please correct me
