i'm using Windows 10 64 bits with: 1 - 4GB RAM; 2 - nvidea geforce G 103M with 512VRAM; 3 - CPU intel core 2 duo T9500 2.6GHz. now i need ask somethings before i install Windows 98 because i'm getting very problems in drivers :'( 1 - what virtual box version is best for my PC? 2 - what video\sound is the best for i create the virtual machine? 3 - how can i get the drivers for i install them without Blue Screen and\or drivers conflicts? 4 - how can i get more updates instead only the windows 98 UBCD without conflicts\bugs? i need ask these, because i reinstalled, several times, the Windows 98 and i get several problems :'(

just asking: why not creating a batch file(or similar) and using a DLL language, like google or other free, translator that translate English to another language?

why the updates\hotfixs aren't compatible with language? my Windows is PT-BR, after use the Auto-patcher will be english on some(explorer, start menu and the Shutdown Window). Can i plug-in the external HDD with 500GB's?

that driver isn't for my driver.. heres the ID and vendor(using Evares program): ID from Hardware PCI\VEN_15AD&DEV_0770&SUBSYS_077015AD&REV_00 the Everest found another driver but no ID... only '?' and yes i did tried find it... but i loose 1 excellent page that i can use ID and Vendor for get the right driver Update: Driver B bug\error fixed.. i delete the pardon floppy driver and then i let the windows install it... after reboot, the drive isn't showed

before that i need more 1 help: on 'My Computer', i get the drive B.. i don't know why... if i click on it or the Windows search something on it, the Windows 98 freezes. i can fix these bug?

i'm sorry, yesterday i was out of these forum... maybe forum problems or something i'm using windows 10.. the VMware is 12.. i can't install the last version, because my CPU(duo) don't support it.. at least was the message from the installer. but i belive these problem have to do with Auto-patcher and SP3.. yes i used both... maybe some hotfix\update is conflicted

jaclaz: the problem is more: - the USB driver is unstable... everytime that i turn on, i must see the USB drivers and i get '!'... - i install the NTFS program\drivers, but when i click(not double click), on 'My Computer', the windows freezes and i must reboot or turn off. if i use the fat32 i don't get problems.. unless the USB driver have the '!'. yes i use VMware and i installed the tools

yes the problem was fixed.. i installed the Internet Explorer 6.0 Portuguese(like the Auto-Pach and PS3 hotfixes\updates) and now the Explorer is Portuguese. i never thot the 'My Computer' opened the Internet Explorer for we see the folders and files. now the 1 and 2 are fixed.. yes doing these now i can see the 'as web page'. - the 3 i must use an external program for it and add it on StartUp menu: http://smallvoid.com/article/transparent-icon-text.html now i must fix the DirectX limitations and the Graphic Card drivers and open my external hard drive 250GB's in NTFS... what you can advice me?

did i miss something? the Explorer that i'm thinking, on 'My Computer', isn't Explorer, but Internet Explorer? please correct me

i did an updates using auto-patcher and SP3.64, but they are in English and my Windows is Portuguese... so i need some help: 1 - how can i back to Portuguese?(explorer, start menu and some menus and even My Computer was translated to English) 2 - the 'as Web' view isn't showed, only the place rectangle... but no text\image.... how can i fix it? 3 - the desktop text backcolor can be transparent? 4 - the DirectX 9 works fine... using the right Graphics drivers or we can get the famous Blue Screen... but why i can't test the 3D? (Acceleration DirectDraw, Direct3D and texture AGP are disabled... i use the SDD program for get the graphic driver... i can't use the 32\64\128MB's of VBE9X graphic driver, or get the Blue Screen) 5 - i have 1 HDD with 250MB's is NTFS.. but the Explorer is closed with an error... why these error? 6 - i have 2 pens drive(both with 16GB's), but they work normally and 1 is NTFS... i use the VMware 12 because is more faster. it's too questions for 1 topic, but it's what i need more help

thanks so much for all. some updates can change the Start Menu(for example) and change the language i'm Portuguese and i installed the Portuguese BR Windows. so how can change for get the Portuguese again? (yes some messages tell me about the language and i accept my language, but don't let my language and change to English)

i need ask more 1 thing: why i can't install the Universal VBE20 2014.01.31 version or above? i get the Blue Screen after choose the 32MB's

yes i'm using resolution at 32bit color. so why the DOOM 2\Spear of Destiny seems slow?

MrMateczko: i belive it NAT... i didn't changed the default values here. now i have the drivers installed because: 1 - the VMware tools give me some drivers; 2 - i download PCI USB\Peripheric drivers; 3 - the Everest program give me the drivers ID\Vendor. RikkaNoodles: i can have right, but the PCEmu it's too much for my CPU.. but better than Virtual Box hehehhe

i changed the VRAM, on VMware Options, to 256MB's... but, on Windows 98 only detects 16MB's... using the VMware Tools or other graphic drivers... why isn't detected 256MB's?

i'm using the PCEmu and seems great... it can be a little slow but very best than Virtual Box. but i only see some problems: 1 - how config for get the right configuration for use Windows 98 or other? 2 - don't accept the SSD graphic driver, maybe, because of that configuration(on Virtual Box accept). 3 - i'm connected and i can use a browser but the Driver Genius 2007 don't detect the connection.. why?(even on Virtual Box, i get the same problem)... yes i must install some drivers that i don't have them

my computer\ laptop: OS: Windows 10 CPU: Intel Core Duo T9500 2.60 GHz Ram: 4GB's Graphics: Nvidia Geforce G 103M 512MB's dedicated... i use the Oracle VM Virtual Box 6.0 with Windows 98. i have some problems with Windows 98.. for now i need fix the CPU problems :( (and maybe that's why i can't hear correctly some music) the CPU seems to be 100%... how i know: - the mouse pointer seems slow on move; - it take time to open a folder\program; - the music seems slow and sometimes don't understand it.. there a CPU fix problem or something for i resolve the problem?
