maybe was after install a driver.. the Start menu was changed(from PT to english) and i delete, by mistake some system folder... so how can i restore it(even using the Windows CD)?

i update it to NUSB36e(before was 33).. the probem was not fixed i need ask more 1 thing: before i install the NUSB33, i must Remove all "Universal Serial Bus controllers" and then install it.. but some can freeze windows.. what you can advice me about it? (it's installed, but geting more information is the best)

i'm trying playing the "Spear"\"Spear of Destiny"\"wolf3d". but i get the Black Screen.. why these error? is because i use the Radeon x600? the desktop properties-config is 32 bits with 720X576 resolution

why, when i reboot the computer, with pen drive connected(maybe with other external disk) the startup stops?

i knew that i forgot something.. so i read all posts and i re-read: "- extract WINEXIT.BAT, FDAPM.COM, WIN.ENG to WINDIR, - rename WIN.ENG to WIN.COM with replace," i did and shutdown the computer.. and then turn off automatic. Mercury127 it's normal take some time for turn off?

the 'winexit.bat' can turn off the pc... but i miss something.. i need change the name 'fdapm' to 'win' or somethind?

1) u need place fdapm AND winexit.bat into windir; i just did(windows folder)... then i turn off, but the computer don't down

Mercury: lets go back.. i'm restarting again... everything. when i execute the 'WINOFF16.EXE' the windows will reboot(not the computer... just the windows).... i download it from 1st post. like i said, we are restarting. so what you can tell me more?

MERCURY127: so u need [re]FORMAT these (DMF) floppies (ie make it usual 1440 KB), or MODIFY it? your words make me think more... the MKEYB works like a sharm.... so what i did: 1 - the UltraIso program can add more files on img(floppy image); 2 - i add the MKeyb DOS program with MKZIP.bat and the build.bat(these 2 bat's files, i don't know if they are needed). and no error on write the floppy image. now the boot language is english, but at least, i can change the keyboard layout. i can use the 98 boot instead the boot ME for format the computer and the fdisk thank you so much for all to all

Using MagicIso program, i can edite on floppy disk. That boot disks are English. Os there the Portuguese version? I found One, but isn't noramdrive

so i will try re-install windows 98(maybe i will get more from MS-DOS). i will try the 'setup /p j' for test if i can install the windows and turn off the computer.... jaclaz: now i will try another way... maybe i can do it more info: when i installed the Windows 2000, the computer was turn off automatic. so my hardware is compatible

i found some windows ME and 98 boot floppy... but some of them don't have the format command... i don't know their versions. can anyone help me for i learn what i can?
