  1. I've tested it on my Vista laptop, and after getting 2 errors which said api-ms-win-core-misc-l1-1-0.dll is missing, followed by 2 crashes, the browser launches anyway, but websites won't load for some reason, but at least Aero works so that's something I guess.
  2. Am I the only one that can't see gifs on Twitter? While I can see their thumbnails, as soon as I click on them, they turn completely black. I've only tried disabling uBO, tried safe mode and a new profile, but none of these helped. For example this one: https://twitter.com/Cortoony/status/1196471643104796673 I'm running latest NM28 on 32-bit Vista by the way.
  3. I guess it's again time for the monthly batch of updates. KB4526478 - Servicing Stack Update for Windows Server 2008 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4525106 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4525234 - Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2008 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4525239 - Security Only Quality Update for Windows Server 2008 - 32-bit | 64-bit Optional updates: KB4528081 - Update for Windows Server 2008 - 64-bit (apparently this update lets Server 2008 machines get updates after Jan. 2020 but it's only available in the 64-bit flavor for some reason) And that's it for November updates for now, but I'm pretty sure another timezone update will be released in a couple days so will try to add it to this list as soon as it's out.
  4. @VistaLover I have a similar problem with GMail freezing the whole browser whenever I close a tab with it open. Even reported it here but was ignored, and no, sadly creating a new profile doesn't help in this case.
  5. Looks like I have somehow missed KB4519108 last month, though it's only a timezone update, so nothing special.
  6. http://w2k.flxsrv.org/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?file=Windows2000-KB935839-v30e-x86-ENU.exe Pretty sure that's the newest version.
  7. The worst thing is that Google basically punishes you for not using Chrome, since it only seems to happen if you're using Firefox or any of its derivatives, not sure about other Chromium-based browsers, but I feel like it happens when using them as well.
  8. Sure, but to be honest I don't know what to exactly look at:
  9. I did, but after loading it in pemaker again, subsysversion remains at 6.1. I guess someone else has to try it then...
  10. I think I'm too dumb to use it, tried changing the SubSysVersion to 6.0 using the change button and also putting it in the main window of pemaker, even tried running it as admin, but always it keeps switching back to 6.1 for whatever reason.
  11. I've tried installing it on Vista, and while it indeed installed, after launching, Windows complained that it's not a valid Win32 application: I guess the same will happen under XP.
  12. Anyone here using Gmail? Does New Moon completely freeze after leaving Gmail only for me?
  13. @VistaLover You're obviously right, don't know why I even thought that. Back on topic, here's a list of October updates, along with the download links: KB4520009 - Security Only Update for Windows Server 2008 SP2 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4520002 - Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows Server 2008 SP2 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4519974 - Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 9 - 32-bit | 64-bit KB4524105 - Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 4.5.2, 4.6 (and all other versions that unoficially work on Vista as well, up to 4.7.2) - MS Update Catalog Link KB4519108 - Timezone Update for Windows Server 2008 SP2 - 32-bit | 64-bit
  14. And here I thought all of em are considered unofficial... Guess I might as well try, not wanna bother roytam with small stuff like this.
