also the good thing is that iirc you dont have to turn off secure boot if you only use Modernframe and UxStyle while the bypass DLL somehow seems to need secureboot disabled.

well the "community version" for w10 seems to run quite nicely on my dualboot Laptop. but you may do what you want, not as if I am responsible for ya.

not really. see the space between the left border and the title bar caption? that is the back button, it just has no picture (already seen and tested in the settings app, my lab rat for everything)

well I think w10 aero works pretty epic (including edge) but I found a funny bug:

yeah but how to derive the right path without anything as a base? I mean asing the user is a way but there should be a default since there are also noobs in the world. and why shouldnt env vars be used in software, it's an approach that's easy and dynamic at the same time...

but why not simply take the environment vars for this, I mean I've never seen a place where they werent...

but the "Program FIles" Folder is there as it is only in English versions of Windows ot's probably different in other languages...

but why force C? why not rather the %systemdrive% or whatever it was? it works muh better especially if they decide to abolish the C: drive as default, especially since W10 started killing floppy drives...

Yeah but as I said sometimes I rather often do a reinstall of the os and always doing the same stupid action with dling 7zip and so on becomes annoying, nothing more, nothing less

Yeah it was winload (s and w are adjacent) How can I start sfc or dism if this thing wont even start (and f8 boot wont work as well. I check the efi data later when I have access to my pc again (de facto night here, need to sleep a bit) but could you maybe attach it so I can cross-load it from via my other win installs? By the way sinload.efi isnt that stupid I mean win10 IS a sin

seems to work on my laptop, but seemingly my PC has gotten some problems, sinload.efi signature fail, some Idea how I can get around this? (without reinstalling win10 again, obviously) no it's not secureboot (my laptop had the same problem, killing SB killed it there), the machine was bought on feb2012 with Win7 this thing doesnt even HAVE secure boot.

In fact it should be included in the os... But anyway it is annoying having to get an unpacker just for the themes which are the first things I do after installing)

Well I like 7-zip too but it's plain annoying having the first thing after every reinstall being the installation of 7-zip instead if all the fun with aero, especially on systems plainly intended for testing

But why 7z? Most pcs don't have 7zip installed and it's a bit annoying having to dl it just for this...

Well I do have a spare local account for problems and I fo have a local on win 8 but on w10 I use an Ms acc I already tried getting back into it after I factory resetted my w10 after some problems...
