Sometimes on startup I get randomly told to go to store and upgrade to 8.1, but I don't want to and I'm tired of this. Is there any way to disable this particular notification or even all Metro notifications?

Aero8 has this effect. It's definitely theme thing like BM pointed out. Yes, it have, i using it, but stripes from theme and stripes from AeroGlass tool by BM differs from each other. I just thinking about theme without stripes to enable them from BM tool. Oh I know what you mean, but I'm sure it's just a image being overlayed on the windows. Just checked in WSB. It's not removing it. It's just clicking it automatically. And I'm not donating unless I get to keep it forever.

I mean the compatibility option W7 has. I only thought that with knowledge you have with DWM you might find solution to bring it back. There is still some old stuff that needs it.

If it's tied to HDD then what exactly happens when I have 2 HDDs(1TB+500GB)? If I take the second one out because it screws up then nothing happens? I doubt that. I prefer when I buy something it stays with me forever like if I buy game on Steam then it doesn't magically dissapear. And good on you adding the options to FAQ page. You should really make a readme with all the options currently available in 1.0 like RoundRectRadius(which isn't in the installer) and where are they supposed to be. Even the ones that are "unused"

Of course, you are right. It is even better to use version 0.1. So what is the difference between 0.95 and 1.0 then? The automatic symbol updates saves plenty of your time so don't have to release new version every time MS decides to update 1 line in the code.

Do you have UxStyle? If so try to reinstall it. If you are using DWMGlass instead make sure HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM:BypassThemeSignature (DWORD 0x0 to disable (default) / 0x1 to enable) You have this set to 1

Well yeah anything that restarts DWM.exe is obviously not a good solution. I am just surprised the messagebox is there when it gets disabled anyway. I don't know why you still think I want to crack the 8.1 version when I really don't care about W8.1 at all. Why would I want OS that is less W7 than W8? W8 one is perfectly fine for me. I already made a bad decision when I "upgraded" from W7.
