Download Office Updater and extract to the root of your drive 2. Download SP2 and use WINRar or 7-Zip to extract it 3. Place MAINSP2ff.msp and OWC11SP2ff.msp in C:\OfficeUpdater\Office_Updates\SP2 4. Run Admin.cmd to create an administrative install in C:\OfficeUpdater\Office_Source 5. Run Slip.cmd to start the slipstream process 6. Burn the contents of "Office_Source" to a cd and your done Of course you can use notepad to edit the drive letters in the batch files if needed.

Anyone still use this?

Yzöwl, thanxs that`s better... nice and simple. few things, if the file is read only it will extract but not delete if the file is hidden it will not extract or delete possible to clear attributes before expand and delete? gunsmokingman, the cmd expands but doesn`t ask if you want to keep the Archive files.

Found this code a while back, credit to whoever made it. It will Expand then delete all the compressed files in the folder it`s run from. Expand_delete_Compressed_Files.rar

Mine always turn out at like 400MB, and that's without and extra installers First i nLite down to 111MB (with drivers and hotfixes) then add my $OEM$ which is 103MB All but these Framework Java Nero Office2003 are extracted from a 7-Zip sfx archive and i use office shrink, ncab and re-packed 7-ziped framework and java installers.

This is what i can`t live without... A few more than 20 Framework Java Nero Office2003 Capture CKRename ColorCop Dustbuster Emptemp FDM Firefox Foxit Reader FTPRush Irfanview JV16 LimeWire LPRecorder MPC NFO Viewer notepad++ Registry Defrag ResHacker Restoration ShortcutMan Startup StartupRun Thunderbird WinRAR UA_CD finnal size 218MB And that`s thanxs to nuhi (for nLite), 7-Zip and all the good ppl at MSFN that i`ve learned from.

Disable LM HOSTS lookup - that would be why it`s not working. Next time post stuff related to nlite in the nLite forum, you will get more help if your in the right section. p.s. i`ve no idea how to reverse the tweak... but if you want to get rid of most ads... use FireFox

Updates are usualy once a month, but, as it`s a new SP thought an update was needed I changed things a bit...now you`ll have to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty a little.

They kept this quiet...at least i wasn`t expecting it.

MU is a bit dodgy when it comes to detecting Office Updates. Office Update has always been reliable for me.

hello WoRdUp48, i update on every second wednesday of the month so expect an update soon. However i don`t use office xp anymore, it`s kind of a pain to make the slip pack for it now plus it has had hardly any downloads so, i`ve decided to discontinue it for now. If enough ppl want it back i`ll resurect it but for now it`s gone.

Because it extracts to set path and wont work if it`s not in that path, therefore what i explained i do is not possible now. If you had understood my situation you would not of said that. But i`m not after a flaming war so forget it.

As title says realy, I have this but doesn`t work; Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\Modifype\Command] @="modifype -c \"%1\"" Any ideas extremely welcome.
