  1. theres your problem, you need a non-retail version. I thought putting this at the top of the guide was clear enough! Can anyone sudgest a clearer way of putting this?
  2. Well as title says, i have a free DLL download site and i want to count the number of downloads for each file. Is this possible?
  3. hakeem5454, not sure exactly what you mean but if you don`t create an Administrative Installation Point you cannot slipstream the updates. A bit more detail would be nice in future. Hope this helps.
  4. tresans, Oh, i see! you know you could of just used the lite pack.
  5. tresans, that`s interesting, I just downloaded the Dutch updates and the msp files are the same size as the english ones, appart from the sp which is a bit bigger. did you use the full or medium pack for office 2003?
  6. boooggy, quick quick check the first post. It took longer than expected but here it is.
  7. Check out this link Click There are many ways to silently install winrar in that thread.
  8. lol dude, thanx for your kind words. this is how it is. Updates become available very late over here, i`m just starting to update today and it`s going to take 2-3 hours to upload the 6 packs. Expect an update in about 6 hours.
  9. Thank you ppl for your comments and suggestions. It`s MS patch day tomorrow so i`m going to wait and see if any updates are released before i release an updated pack/guide. Aswell as some small changes and tweaks i`m going to make 3 update pack`s for each version of office, Full Pack This will include the service pack and all post SP updates. Medium Pack This will include just the post service pack updates. Lite Pack This will include no updates, just the folder structure and batch files. I think these will cover the needs of most situations. Now...what do you think about screenshots in the guide? I know it can be helpfull to have a visual aid but i don`t think the procces it complicated enough to justify the need for screenshots. Maybe i`m wrong!
  10. Wow, I must say a big thank you dman, you have been a big help. Decided to go with; <tr bgcolor="#0099FF" onclick="document.location.href='File.RAR'" style="cursor: pointer;" onmouseover="this.bgColor='#00CCFF';"onmouseout="this.bgColor='#0099FF';"> IE complains about active content but what can you do, ppl will have to allow active content or click the firefox link thats going to be on every page instead.
  11. WoRdUp48, thanx for the pointers, i`m going to do an update 2morrow maybeme, simple answer is, no. not for the moment anyway, depends on demand.
  12. ye i figured out how to change the row colour onmouseover but i want to link the whole row (not just the text) to a file. Here is a sneak preview of the page. FreeDLL Notice just the file name is a link, i want the whole row to be a link. I hope you understand this is frustrating me i can`t get it to work.
  13. thats beautiful dman, thanx for spellin it out i`m just a point and click novice at the moment. tell me, is it possible to link a whole row?
  14. no just me so let us know how you get on if you try it and yes winrar will open .7z extension. its compressed using 7-zip
  15. Thanxs TomcaT, that just changes the text colour though, i want the background of a whole row to change colour on mouseover. Found a better example; emaxhosting
  16. don`t think so... but i could of missed somthing. are you aiming to include all sp2 hotfixes or just the ones you need?
  17. LOL vcBlackBox Thanx. It sort of works. Oh and i am loged in as admin
  18. jcarle, Wow... Compression Bin is exactly what i`ve been lookin for. I notice that after using the right click option Compression Bin stays open and i have to close it manualy. Would be better i think if it`s possible, to close itself when it`s done. I think evilvoice and kelsenellenelvian would like this too. Thank you so much for this tool, you have made my day.
  19. Astalavista, yes you can remove them because they have been replaced with newer hotfixes. Do you know ryanvm`s post sp2 update pack? he has a list of all updates that have been suppressed by new updates. Link On the left, the old hotfix, on the right, the hotfix that has replaced it.
  20. @Astalavista, had a look at your pack and noticed the following updates have been superseeded. Hope this helps. KB867282 KB873333 KB884020 KB885250 KB886185 KB890047
