care to share? i have this problem aswell. @ All I intergrate update KB885884 with nlite but it shows up on windows update and its not listed with qfecheck at all. Anyone know why? Also i use ryans lite pack.

After a post i made in the nlite forum DigeratiPrime pointed out this thread to me. He thought you might find the info usefull. Basicly i removed batmeter.dll with nlite, which stopped the SRHI from showing. Link to my post DigeratiPrime, thanks for that shortcut to the remove dialog box. Now i can get rid of that dll and use the shortcut to remove my devices. No more annoying icon.

I have just swaped out 2x 256mb ram for 2x 510 mb. When i click on my cd drive in my computer i get the error; "Please go to the control panel to install and configure system components." If i click on the cd drive in the tree list on the left pannel i can browse the cd as normal. Here`s a screenshot of the error. Any ideas why this has happened or how to fix it? I`ve googled the error and searched msfn with no luck. Hopefully someone has an idea about this.

orben, Here is the plugin i use, and streaming works for me. Just to check, you are using Media Player Classic and have asosiated it with the file extensions, put npdsplay.dll in the firefox plugins folder ( C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins - depending where you installed firefox ) and installed titou2k codec pack. If you have done that it should work. Btw i don`t think you need to use MPC, it`s just what i use.

I don`t keep media player compatibility and it works fine. I think it`s safe to say you can rule that out.

Unfortunatly, found a bug. When burning a Barnix ISO it gives error message Unknown BurnPhase Just tested and the iso burns ok with a normal nero install. Btw, anyone using nlite, you need to keep Command-Line Tools to be able to run NCIB and install the custom installer.

titou2k, OK tested with WMV stream and it works on BBC News Headlines as it should. Sorry, got my wires crossed there. jmbattle, that codecs package is exactly what i have been lookin for, wma/wmv, realmedia and quicktime all bundled together with MPC and the ability to stream media in FF. I`m all for keeping everythig as clean and compact as possible. Some of the cedec packages i have been checking out here are huge, surely they could be stripped back a bit without loosing functionality. Anyway, it sounds very good to me, if you decide to go for it i would be happy to help in the testing.

Hello titou2k, no streaming media works for me! in firefox or ie. Just to be clear i have removed player and codecs with nlite, put npdsplay.dll in plugins folder and instaled your pack. I think this is all thats needed! The bbc asks if i want to listen in the stand alone realplayer, i say yes, Media Player Classic opens but says "Cannot render the file" The other site looks like this Screenshot

Is it possible to stop the Nero Burning Rom quick launch shortcut being made? I have tried removing lines 71, 72 from post_config.cmd but that stops all shortcuts from being made! Any ideas? [Edit] Sorry my bad, i missed the ) of the end.

Hello Felix, Works fine for me. Although i did notice if i extract the custom nero installer and manualy 7-zip the nerotmp folder i get an archive 2megs less than the origional! Are you using the highest compression level?

Ok lookin forward to it... as for uninstall options, it would be usefull to have it in add/remove, although a simple batch that just deletes nero and reg entries would do for me.

Felix, i had no idea Shortcut.exe was needed and i see plugin manager is now fixed, nice work. MAVERICKS CHOICE, do you have "nero6608.exe" exactly? i think it needs the dash in there, so you can have nero-whatever you want here.exe

ok, it is now workin, can`t tell you what was wrong though, just tried it on a clean install and it worked, somthing must be screwed up on my main installal winrar is in default location. A few new issues now though, the shortcuts don`t get made in the start menu, folder is there but no links and it gives an error when loading nero express, Unable to load plugin manager also curious about this line in !MakeIt.cmd ping -n 4 127.0.0.1 >NUL 2>&1 other than these few isues, a very usefull addition to my toolbox
