some devices do that,especialy under 98 se,just reinstall the drivers,i know under xp i have a pc with a soundblaster live 5.1 and sometimes the drivers dissapear and need to reinstall them when that happens.

98 comes with 1.3,95 comes with 1.2,the sps for 98 se update dial up networking to 1.4.

you can delete the files once your done using 98lite to remove alot of the stuff you don't want but if you reinstall a component that was removed then the installer will ask for the 98 cd.

xp will perform better than 2000 if you have all those special effects n such turned off and use the classic theme.

no it does not,i put it on an older comp and it runs fine(the pc is around 10 years old mind you)

try tweakui and see if that will fix it,usualy that fixes it.i've had those problems before,if tweakui does not fix it then you will need to go into folder options/file assosiations and you will have to fix it manualy.

well for the moment 64 bit is worth testing and playing with but give it till next year then use it as your main os as there will be more 64 bit apps around then,but for now stick to 32 bit but 64 bit is quite a bit faster then 32 bit and most 32 bit apps work for it.

for every driver out there you would be looking at whopping 4 gig at least for every driver out there.

nlite is the problem i use xplite and have no problems.

they will sue you for that and be angry at you.

nlite is crap,that is your problem,i have installed this on xp sp2 and no problem,also the app patch is only for xp machines(without the sp)otherwise it would have already been included with your installation,also i wonder why your using xp but without the sp?xp is weird without sp1 or sp2.

you get what you payed for when you buy a computer,all tones of crap is put on when you build a computer, none of that stuff is put on.

i totaly agree with Rhelic,just goto xp,it will run on low end stuff or use the 98 se 2.0,maybe that will work.theres notta thing wrong with xp,you can make it look like 98 se.

i may have moved to xp but i still like 98.

i've had those problems at times,thnx.

it's a faulty card,send it back for a complete replacement.
