It's not hard to implement but hard to support since it's difficult to detect Aero Glass and dynamically update UI for it. Without auto detection I could throw in a loser checkbox like Classic Shell does (does it?). But still this stuff must play nice with other settings. Each Win10 version and each aero glass version may require tailoring and Redstone 3 is coming and no public Aero glass for RS2 yet etc.
But that is not the main point. Main point is that nobody (except maybe prosumers on this forum) actually requested this feature.
Maybe bigmuscle can adapt Aero Glass to provide glass and stripes on accented windows. That would solve problems without kludging.
In other news, 2.0.6 is out:
DWMWindow is processed by DWM, not apps. StartIsBack++ does not support Aero Glass nor any special stripes mechanism.
AeroSquared has stripes only on taskbar.
StartIsBack++ 2.0.2

(Not marked as beta since apparantly nobody installs beta versions)
This version addresses all feedback received since 2.0 release.
Well I hope you're just one weirdo which uses reverse hotkeys and pixel targeting.
I'll evaluate the feedback on 2.0 (which should have come during beta) and then I will or won't make changes.
There was a lot of feedback about using StartIsBack without its start menu so now in 2.0 it is a legal citizen.
Meanwhile, ++1.3.4 is still available and should work on Creators Update: http://startisback.com/StartIsBackPlusPlus134_setup.exe
Yeah I guess it should be returned. But that goes against UI simplification in ++2.0
We do have one: http://startisback.com/styles/AeroSquared.msstyles
You'll have to reinstall RC4 to make it work on 15055
Small sweet pill for you: http://startisback.com/AeroSquared.msstyles
Drop it into Styles subfolder
