  1. I guess it is probably because you did not respect the guide http://glass8.eu/guide.html.
  2. You don't need your e-mail. You can just read this http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/173139-read-first/and you will find the information to login there.
  3. MineMasterHD: According to your image, it looks like what I already mentioned. Current public version of ModernFrame does not respect your DPI settings and thus the titlebar content will be smaller and misaligned.
  4. It should work on Win8.1 too. Although, not tested yet
  5. So your policy is "Someone got it, so I must get it too" ? So experiment in non-experimental version? As you can see, people do not care at all if some version is experimental, debug, testing or whatever. And any such build displays copyright messages regardless the presence of the key so it actually IS the donation No, I'm not able to move posts. I can only hide the posts.
  6. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/173139-read-first/?p=1090811This would be really interesting. If someone has some obligations then he rather ignores it, but if it is about his rights then he finds the information in this forum very quickly. However, the only official site about my software is at http://www.glass8.eu and it is the only valid information. The problem with adacom's "opinion" is his total disrespect to license terms (especially his "you have your terms - they are in your mind - no more"). He tries to push here that if someone pays for license then he has any right for anything and I must sit and do everything for him immediately. Actually, the opposite is true - if someone pays for license (in general, no talking about my SW only), he must follow license terms and he even has no right to get updated versions and other kind of support (unless license terms specify otherwise, of course). But he is not able to accept it so he pushes his opinion everytime the opportunity arises (so, actually, he just spams this forum). The another problem is that how some users creates their only license terms - where is it written that free software is not allowed to display copyright statement? You list shows everything, thanks for it. a) if user thinks that it is nagware (=software which nags him) why he uses such software? I don't use SW which nags me. b) user talking about removing watermark by paying/buying/donating... where is this written that it will happen? Sorry, but if he is paying for something which has not been specified then he is really stupid. It is same as randomly sending money to someone and then saying that I payed him because I want his car. Isn't it stupid? c) again, user talking that he is donating because "it effectively removes the nag" ... where did he find such information? On my website? No, it is again only his fabricate. d) I never said this is "donationware" (in the sense of this exact term) dhjohns: You are right. There is already a topic about license terms. If I remember correctly, it has been created for adacom's discussion. So I don't understand why he simply did not use that topic and he started to push it in another topic again. I could delete all these off-topic posts, but I don't want to create some censoring here.
  7. With regard to the fact that it is not said anywhere that donation will remove watermark/copyright notice and even my conditions explicitly say that you have no claim to get anything for your donation, it is only YOUR problem if you construe something which is not written anywhere.
  8. I would not say it is spam if you don't push in every topic still around. What you are trying to push here that if people give money then they have some special rights and I must do everything what they want... no, the only right that they have is to use the software in the scope of the license terms. If they don't respect the license terms then they are not allowed to used the software regardless how much money they paid. It is not only about my software. It is general thing according to the copyright law.
  9. people come here for help - ok they should read but thats does not happen - its like the search button - its there but 99% never see it or use it - as someone making money from your software - yes i know its donations and they dont pay for the software - bla - bla - bla - a post like that is insulting - theres a saying in the UK - the customer is always right - not sure how that translates - but however you wrap it up CUSTOMERS are coming here for help my 2 penneth I do not understand why you still need spam every topic and push here stuff about paying, customers and other totally non-relevant stuff. Before using experimental version, user had to confirm that he agrees with the state of the software, the conditions are even written on my website and have been written in this forum milliontimes (that's why it is even pinned in the first post of this topic). If user does not accept the conditions and still uses this software then he simply violates license terms and he has absolutely no rights about it. I absolutely do not understand why someone goes into the "Experimental builds" section, downloads some software from there, reads "This is DEBUG/experimental version" message and then goes back and complain that the version is not fully usable This is written on my website: WARNING: Versions available in this section are debug versions only. For this reason, they contain many means to provide easier debugging and more verbose error logging which cannot be disabled. If you are not interested in debugging then do not use these versions! This is written in the first post of this topic: These are DEBUG builds only, they display watermark, they display debugging console and they display debug warning on startup. They may require debugging symbols for proper function. Do NOT use them if you do NOT want this or you cannot accept that these builds are experimental only. What is not understandable?
  10. Is it hard to read the first post of this topic? And is it hard to read the title of this topic?
  11. This is what he uses. It has a free version and a paid version. http://www.winstep.net/nexus.asp And any special settings? I tried to install and I don't see any problem. Guys, the instability happens only for multiple monitors, When I switch to single monitor mode everything is rock stable - with or without Nexus. With two monitors it becomes unstable, the instability becoming significantly worse with Nexus. I have two monitors: 1 - 1920x1080 2 - 1600x1200. My configuration of Nexus: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=3622EFE518296C3!442&authkey=!ACguqP_lagIHdok&ithint=folder%2c After some experimenting I observed the following phenomenon: after the display settings are redefined to one monitor the things get stabilized after a minute. Then when I go back to two monitors - everything remains stable. So far, the instability doesn't return. These are my observations, which are pretty dumb (intentionally) since I don't know how the program works... Hope this helps. Thanks for your information. Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce this problem.
  12. Just briefly. When you have some image (e.g. for button), the sizing margin define which part of the image stays untouched (= rendered in same size as in atlas image) and which part will be resized (= stretched vertically/horizontally) to fit the requested area. Just imagine this - the image for a button in atlas has size 64x64 but you want to rendered in area of size 128x128. The content margin just defines how the content (e.g. text, or button glyph) will be placed into the control.
  13. This is what he uses. It has a free version and a paid version. http://www.winstep.net/nexus.asp And any special settings? I tried to install and I don't see any problem.
  14. The layout is described in the changelog: http://glass8.eu/out/changelog81.txt It is nothing more than overriding constants that are read from system theme.
  15. iweksler: do I understand that this happens only with that dock application? Is this application free and is it possible to download it somewhere?
  16. It crashes at beginning in the phase of initial hooks when pD3DDevice->Release() is called. The pointer to device is valid and it does not crash on accessing the memory location but something in atixx.dll file (I don't remember the exact file name now).
  17. Currently, I'm not exactly sure what's wrong, because according to your minidumps, it looks like a bug in graphics driver. Could you try the latest experimental debug build to check what happens?
  18. Thanks for the new build. Running it on 586. Reporting:- Still getting unstable windows with the Winstep Nexus Dock (see the dock on the bottom of the desktop) - Without Nexus Dock it's more stable, however also getting some instability when moving a Firefox window from one screen to another (I have 2 monitors) Attached is the snapshot of the screen and the debug.logScreenshot .jpgdebug.txt What does "unstable" windows mean? carlitosoo555: Currently, you cannot directly. You must modify your theme or use UxThemeSignatureBypass which respects Aero Glass settings.
  19. This is separate library and you don't need Aero Glass for it. Maybe it should be good to read the first post of this topic ;-)
  20. Aero Glass BETA #506 So there is the first beta version intended for testing. Archive includes both 32bit and 64bit library. Just rename required version to DWMGlass.dll. Since the last experimental version, it contains many fixes to DWM internal structures and pointers and automatic theme layout remapping for TH2. Currently, it needs to be tested on Win10 TH2, Win10 TH1 and Win8.1, then we can think about entering the ready-to-release phase. http://glass8.eu/
  21. You should update your Aero Glass to the most recent version.
  22. The theme layout in 10586 is something which I do not understand at all. Or I do not see any sense in it. Graphics are totally same, their dimensions are totally same, just the control mapping has been changed. For this reason, you can simply use old layouts, you just need to change control numbers for caption buttons/glyphs. EDIT: Got it. TH2 now uses different images when light or dark color is used. If you set light color for the captions, old layout will work. For dark colors, you need remapping.
  23. Since now, I will delete all messing posts from this topic. If you install experimental version or release on unsupported OS then stop being excited when it does not behave as you need.
  24. I tried changing the font size and it is actually changed but this change is not visible immediately (e.g. you must restart ApplicationFrameHost process).
