  1. You understood that??
  2. negative.. that was one of the 1st things I checked and its turned on.
  3. Yes. All on C: @DLF Thx for the recommendation, if I dont get this figured out, I may have to do just what you suggested.
  4. On a side note... anyone figure out how to install this to a different location than the default? I tried 'INSTALLDIR' and that didnt seem to work...
  5. Latest version works like a charm. Thx again alanoll
  6. excellent. Thanks a bunch.
  7. Hrm.. and I did use nlite to remove some stuff. Wonder what the hell I removed that couldve caused this... thx for the reply
  8. Illl give it a shot and let you know if it comes up again... thx
  9. I got my hopes up for a sec there... I launched infor FF Safe Mode, uninstalled hist manager plugin, launched back into safe mode so that it would fully uninstall, then launched the normal FF shortcut. It worked! Then I closed it, launched it again.. and no dice. Closed and re-launched a few more times and still no go. Only way I can open is by using the default plugin or in safe mode. Dammit. ::UPDATE:: Hrm.. well it seems to be working now. I also had noticed that when I loaded into safe mode it showed an extension installed which I had previously uninstalled. The more I think about it, the more I think it was around the time I uninstalled this extension that I started experiencing this problem. So I launched FF in safe mode again, uninstalled the extension and everything seems to be working without issue... I think what the problem was is that I loaded into the Default profile when I uninstalled it, so I could use that for my uA install, but I never uninstalled it from the 'normal' firefox, which Im assuming caused a conflict and this issue to occur. Regardless, it seems its working fine now, which is all that matters. Thx for the help mattofak.
  10. Yea, I tossed up a post over there as well... Another thing I noticed is I can right click on the area where the page should have loaded and it shows the FF context menu as it should. Also, I found it always seems to work when I use "firefox.exe -profile defaults\profile". In response to your questions, I cant open new tabs and this never happens after its been working and I goto another page... it only happens when I first open it up. Also minimizing and restoring doesnt do anything.
  11. So Ive been having this issue with firefox where the browser loads, but theres nothing in the address bar, no page loads and I cant use any menus or type anything. The wierd thing is, is that its not completely locked up... when I move my cursor over the address bar or search bar the cursor changes to the text bar thing... also I can click the Firefox update button and it actually runs the update checker to see if there are any extension/firefox updates. Also, when I press the home button or the refresh button, an hour glass comes up for a sec, like its actually loading something... It randomly works when I close it down and reopen it again... Also, Ive reformatted and reinstalled firefox once already and still have this problem... Heres a screenshot as to what it looks like when I start it up. http://www.dynamic-innovations.net/uploads/firefox.JPG Heres a list of my extensions... http://www.dynamic-innovations.net/uploads/extensions.JPG Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Ive downloaded and extracted the soundblaster audigy driver package from creatives web site. Does anyone happen to know which are the ONLY files needed? Im running XP and itas an audigy platnium. Im sure not every single file thats in the 'driver' folder is needed. Thanks.
  13. So Im a bit confused.... is that reg entry you posted Ryan all I need? Or do I need to modify this file twisted refers to....
  14. anyone have an idea on this?? ::UPDATE:: Well, Ive verified its in fact NOT my regtweaks... I just ran my install with nothing but the useraccount.cmd in my cmdlines.txt. So no regtweaks were applied and no programs were installed, so it has to be something either nLite did or the RyanVM pack did.... Can someone, who has used nlite and installed the ryanvm pack at least verify that they do or dont have this problem?
  15. I got the one you tossed up there as soon as 5.0.8 came out... dont recall exactly when that was, but have you released another since the 508 version you put out?
  16. hopefully someone else has figured this out.... and sorry for the wrong section thing... didnt even notice
  17. Ah.. I see what youre saying. Actually, prior to running this, I have another script that uses diskpart to re-assign all of my drives bases on their volume number, so I always know the letter of the drive I want to create my page file on.
  18. I am using your installer.... am I missing something?
  19. Has anyone figured out how to skip this initial user info box that comes up on 1st winamp run? Thanks.
  20. Any progress on this guys?
  21. Ah.. missed that one. Thx!
  22. I searched through that post and couldnt find anything that does this...
  23. which means...
  24. I searched all around for this. First found a vbscript that did it, then finally came across a MUCH easier solution. Sure enough theres an actual native Windows utility that does this for you, appropriately called 'label.exe'. The syntax is as follows label <drive letter> <label name> IE: label c: system Hope someone else can use this as well.
  25. So after installing my uA cd, I can no longer right click and 'Open' or 'Explore' any of the start menu program folders. I try to do it and nothing happens. The only way this functionality works is by right clicking the start menu and choosing either one of these options. In this case, it opens explorer as it should. I assume it has to have been one of my regtweaks that caused this, but after looking back at them, I dont have the slightest idea which one. If it matters, Im using the winxp standard menus, not classic. Help!
