installing windows onto a 128MB CF is just unrealistic. first your gonna need to install it, copy it to the CF flash card. Then you need to setup EWF, and make the cf card read only. Ill find what I know about EWF and post for you later.

yes, thats all I want, is my microwinX stuff removed from the site. He already broke the integrity of the agreement on my site, I setup just for protection, until I get a better written one, which can protect the project. if he just linked to the site, or mirrored, there would of never been a problem, he is hosting, on a computer of his, my project, protection removed, which you'd normally get at download to unprotect, and he say he even changed the licence for those who dont like mine. I dont want to do anything to this user, except have my project removed from his site, and the download of the unprotected licence changed microwinX.

im not here fightin for respect, just protecting my work. with users like that, taking the work, and breaking the licence agreement, and making there own licence. It makes it so users can steal the work, and not get in trouble and call it there own, and sell it. please make sure, your using sp2 builds, until beta 2.75 you can slipstream sp2 with nlite easily.

Not in beta 2.5, beta 3.0 will bring this, as I have got dsl, just to get it working for users (btw dsl still sucks) dsl pppoe is possible in beta 2.5 by doing the following use a router which all support pppoe connections. use the dsl modem itself as the router. to do this, manually enter the following IP addresses (this is only from my testing, as all hardware isn't the same, but since in most cases similarities arise) 192.168.2.10 ip address 255.255.255.0 subnet 192.168.2.1 gateway 192.168.2.1 dns now restart your modem. now use a internet browser and goto , http://192.168.2.1 this should bring up a setup, where you can enter your username and password. I hope this helps lots of users.

yah, lots of this is my goal with microwinX too. I want, to have any hardware support users need, and so on. Along with there programs (rationally, I wont make 3dmark06 work, it just needs too much)

lol, yah I got a great sence of humor. and I was sure it said if you distributed my source, as your own, it would be 15,000. I dont know lol, anyway, its a temporary way of protecting microwinX from theft. I am an open guy though, any user can request things for microwinX, and can make there own additions to microwinX, by using addon packs, that would just join/combine/team up with microwinX, to make it the way you want.

due to moving out, and all the work involved. microwinX beta 3.0 will be posponed til an august release. With a possible beta 2.75 to fill the gap, and fix some bugs. During july I will be able to get cable internet , which will help me get more tests done. Currently I am working on hardware support for beta 3.0, I will be adding wifi and dsl modem support, and dhcp and dns. This will be a rather difficult thing, since I am not happy with the current security and usage of these services, and will try to shrink this support to the minimal too. Beta 3.0 has goals that just cant be reached in july, which is where a beta refresh will come in. Beta 2.75 will mainly focus on more software support, since that is the most requests. I will be adding all these fixes, that have been posted in this and every microwinX thread, as options so users will have all this built into the next build. "A Note To Wifi Users" using the third party tools instead of that built into windows, allowed me, to acces wifi under microwinX beta 2.5 this was done, by using the linksys tool, and manual ip address setup

ok looks good, it will be in beta 3.0 by default removed, but start menu entry will bring it back, hows that sound? or do you need it for unattend raid drivers? I know NVRaid works fine in microwinX. on a raid 0 (stripe) array of 4 drives.

well ill for sure setup a future microwinX build to incorperate your needs, with start menu recovery.

um, grab the ultimate boot disk or something like that, in there you will find some tool that will fix your every need.

@gczobel if your in shrinkdown mode, your gonna have to go back to normal mode, by restoring everything in \lastgood\ to \windows\ of that microwinX install this will allow you to shrinkdown again and get back to that mode, with the drives working. even exfs drives work in microwinX mode, when using the exfs win32 driver. ill give you back floppy in beta 3.0 too, you could try leaving it in nlite, that might just do the trick. @ripken204 thanks for helping him out with that

yes it is possible. the volume does not matter. as long as Documents and Settings and Program Files are on the system drive and those names. windows directory can be renamed.

sure, if you think you can contibute in any way to beta 3.0 ill let any user do that. from making software patches to anything this will help it become an easier effort for everyone. im contributing what I showed. if users can add to that for beta 3, it will be more easy for everyone. If you have an idea, it can be explored, I will be adding explorer support can for all users who prefer the windows classic and themed ui's. thanks everyone

east-tec eraser has an option to wipe, free hard drive space that way, even if you deleted it already, it cant be recovered

I thought you were just asking for (what is normally asked for when people ask for OEM to retail, etc) is that they are look for the home to pro hack or retail to vlk. anyway, continue, as if I didn't make a fool of mehself. and about my project, I think the agreement covers all legal issues, just like nlite does.
