just use post install cleanup. its cause of those wim images, that are used in vista. I bet when vista is supported by nlite, it would be simple for flp support.

hey guys, there really isn't much left for me to do for beta 3 in terms of being done. its all making it into a nice package, and some method changes that have been internally discussed. any users with knowledge in .inf building, coding, and commands, that can give me an example of howto copy files with it, and use IF paramaters, this would be a great help. anyway, internet caps do suck, but if you download 160GB on cable they dont normally give you a hassle, it took 230 one month at my parents with 5 computers going. I just dislike these speeds, but I guess cable had the initial win in my area, with fibre to the road, where dsl doesn't have that yet, but I was just told my area is popular, and competative and adsl2 is coming soon, 8Mbit 10GB 10Mbit 30GB cap, 16Mbit 60GB cap Seems like bell thinks like rogers after all, people who want the speed, arn't just downloading a bunch, but playing low latency games and to cap it to prevent not making 75% profit for further expansion. @pgoya no acpi functions is very odd, soundblaster issue should be fixed with a patch, as I might possibly be able to test with one and get it 100% setup working, and shrunk for better performance / less memory usage. which card do you use, or would recommend?

well, if this happens in a clean install on real hardware and I hear of it from another user, I will take a better look at it. To me it seems impossible for lsass.exe not to be able to write, since I've used microwinX for more than a year and have never gotten any error but the IE core one, where it tries to save website as. back and got net on the 11th of august working hard on getting beta 2.75 out to users.' I have decicided that beta 3.0 will be the next release, during september. All user contributions will be added, if contributed before september 25th. Also on a side note, dont use dsl, even though it might seem good at first, they'll try to slow you down at every chance, and you will never get proper speeds. Respect to cable providers, who normally provide beyond there specs, always, and never below. (cable slow speeds normally mean bad line, or bad tweaks, unlike dsl, where they lower your profile for downloading , cable might cap more, but dsl is worse, cause they will telll you your line aint capable and make your line 100K/10K. where cable will just threaten you being kicked from over 100GB + download. If anyone had Canda sympatcio bell dsl internet, do you get low speeds, im curious, cause at first, I had stable 5Mbit, then, I cant get stable over 4mbit, then, 2mbit, just cause when they were testing I was grabbing a bunch of linux dvds. Anyone else see bell lieing just to stop you from costing them as much as they charge you.

thats a really odd error. I dont know why its happening,, maybe hard drive corruption., can you post a bit of your system specifications.

the whole thing is really messed, dfi says avoid .5 multiplyers on all a64 processors, its just not worth it, same thing when you bring ram to proper speeds as higher multiplyer edit, aegis, are those two cpus flopping around in numbers? or is that one cpu at 1900 and another at 1800 ? those are odd for cpu times. also, to explain what Ripken was saying, 10.5 would put the memory on a 9/10 memory divider, 9.5,8.5, etc. too avoid unproper readings in windows for HTT bus and lots more, A64 users have to stick with full multiplyers.

well the DFI NF4 SLI-DR and DFI NF4 Expert Have most of what you want, cept its more like this Get a bigger home theatre pc case 4X sata II 4X sata I 4X ide 1xfloppy 2XPCI-E 16X 1X firewire on back, 1 for front of case 6X usb back, 4X usb front no parrel port no serial on back (adapater) no game port 2XGB ethernet ports 3XPCI setting for some good placed ram slots, and great bios, that make support for 4X512MB ddr 500 2-2-2-5 memory @ 3.5V or higher 5 fan headers too oh and when AM2 boards come out, expect more of what your looking for from DFI, they also have digital IC things, instead of the capasitors, bring alot more OC potention I figure.

wow impressive nuhi, thats some list of changes and fixes. I agree, when betas are making it to mirror's and you have a final days later, its best to do what your saying. Maybe more private testing through private users.

if anyone wants to see this in microwinX. just let me know how its done, and how your gonna restore UI after, and its done. edit ____________________________________________________________________ I thought now would be a perfect time to extplain to some users, that the microwinX agreement is there for no other reason other than protecting microwinX, im not out to sue anyone, just protect work, and I think agreeing made it so all work, is protected, for all contributers. I am all about users contributing to microwinX and making it there way, improving there experience, the way whey'd want it. Users retain all rights, even with the agreement, which was only for beta 2.5, to protect it, where beta 2.75, will not have password proetected file, or agreement on site.

yah, it wouldn't be so easily possible without a third party piece of software made just for this. guess it would be similiar, to like nvidia drivers, that load different AA AF and sli methods, depending on the game. I dont see it happening, if you want to unload the desktop, click the XG in the bottom corner, right click out. also, shell is setup to restartshell. but from the sounds of it, your a user, who want to have command as shell. Is this right?

I think there is no stopping it though. When beheading the mytholgical beasts, you'd have to cutt off both heads. This applies here, cant just fix one problem, need to fix it at its source. Wasn't that the partriot act, that made everyone in the usa a terrorist and this legal? You can get the patriot act revoked at the city/town level, maybe that is a good place to start also.

what you did was simple. you replace minlogon with winlogon. this is a restore error atm, fixed in beta 2.75 to fix this, just get winlogon.exe, the smallest one, w/o an icon. and put it back in your microwinX, system32 directory, renaming winlogon.exe to winlogon.bak, and so forth

ok, then it should be simple then I got microwinX booting from a cd with that. now to import registry hives, so I have all the software support still

hey , I noticed you havn't got a reply yet. I am very interested in this tool, you used for NanoXP. Would there be a way to make my small windows xp, boot from a ram drive with it, from an already installed OS, so registry and everything is ready to go games etc,I am looking for that. More than just a secondary less funtional os on the ramdrive. I think 2k3 rc1 or rc2 are fastest. I would love that, lol. I can free 64MB ram for a ram drive

the password is how it looks. since its a bit bugged with winrar and older versions of 7zip you need to copy paste the password 5 times or more. then it will unzip.

I know that issue exists. Many dsl modems act as routers too. or connecting to a router instead works too. I will make it work under beta 2.75.

win9x-nt4 is obsolite, cause microsoft stoped fixing there problems. 2k wont be removed, cause it can be used as an upto date system, running stable and well.
