wmploc.dll also needs to be removed. previously it complained about 2 files (think i mentioned them both in previous post) being overwritten, now we narrowed it down to 1. way to go...

some tools that could help you out are 'runonceexmaker" and "silence of the foxes" as mentioned before. u should be using runonceexmker AFTER u read the guide on http://unattended.msfn.org/ goodluck

great app, but i have one request: please make it possible to include components folder because some plugins have components in there. real and qt alternative for example. xcopying them is a complementary step that shouldnt be needed fo such a great app. edit: thx for confirmation

i dont recall exactly what the problem was... but i'm guessing it had to do with a faulty plugin which didnt work right (now i remember u fixed that ) about mpc: i had it 3 times on my cd, one standalone sfx, one in qt alt, and one in real alt. if i let it install by real or qt alt installers i'll still have it twice and i'm 1-2 mb short on my cd for avg (its about 10-11mb and i have only 8or 9 mb left) titou: now get to work and put out that package instead of being around the forum ps @ nuhi: after i remove all wmp 6.4 & 9 and uncheck keep compability there are still some files remaining, because titou's installer (stream&codecs2) prompts me if i wanna overwrite something i forgot to remember (could it be qasf.dll & wmploc.dll?). dutch install with xpsp2 and hp38 hotfixpack inc. (as in incorporated )

qlitetest and realitetest are updated? got errors when trying it when u released it... now that it seems as you've found a way to bypass those errors did u update the package? thanks for all your efforts edit: well actually i like the error free installers by releasers, but my only complaint is those silly creators include mpc classic in each of m so i can't get avg free on my cd anymore. if u have the time and knowledge to make the default installers mpc free (nothing more, nothing less) please do so, i think u'd do me and maybe a few others (mini-cd users) a real big favour. thanks in advance, regardless of your reply

btw: using ff plugins for opera also provided by titty2k. (opera uses netscape4 plugin architecture, just like ff does... makes sense to me since ff is one silly, bad opera clone)

realmedia doenst load anything in opera. and it makes firefox crash (only tested real, don't know about quicktime)

opera works flawlessly with the test packages (page5). copy the npqtplugin.dll to progfiles/opera8beta3/program/plugins and there you go. now gotta find a realmedia stream to test that too

question: i unzip firefox in progfiles and place a shortcut which works for me. now of course extensions and such wont get installed after my nlite install. can somebody tell me whether firefox uses registry keys to remember settings, because otherwise i can just copy the firefox folder in users/username/application data/mozila and not need a funky, complicated installer tha's not needed since i only install my nlite-unattended cd on 1 pc...

i'm in a workgroup. the pc i'm trying to browse is runnin windows2000pro, this one windows xp. i have no autologon.reg and in winnt.sif autologon is disabled. i just checked the 2000 machine, enabled the guest account and added rights to view, execute etc for the group "everybody". now i can browse it's files and execute m but why doesn't this work automatically? this could be caused because autologon=disabled? thx in advance

i'm having the exact same problem. haven't found a solution yet... bet i suspect it has to do with the guest account (not) being active. can anyone pls confirm this, or am i way off? thx
