  1. have you posted this in the multi-boot section of this forum? maybe these guys aren't even aware of the existence of your app
  2. and what is method3 supposed to be? also is method3 experimental or bug-free? still haven't implemented the drivers in my cd as i need ati mobility, but i would like to make the right choices when i'll do. i vaguely recall ati was going to include mobility support themselves instead of pointing users to manufacturer's site (which never update as we already bought a laptop and we're economically insignificant for them ). is this correct or does it apply to catalyst only? great thread btw, cheers
  3. first of all u dumb fook, windows is not internet explorer. windows is an os, ie is a browser. opera is a browser too. second of all, i am running windows as my main os. third of all, reporting a problem is the right thing to do. fourth of all, who the fook are you to tell me what to use. fifth of all, ignorance will not gain you any appreciation if that is what you had in mind. sixth of all, we weren't complaining, complaining is what i would do if i met your parents, as it seems you didn't get properly educated about social interchange. seventh of all, constructive criticism from your side would be appreciated. and last but not least, may i suggest you print this post out and stick it up yours? good luck
  4. 2 threads below i reported it suggested them to ask on the opera forum, but they think it is only for opera support . guess i should tell m they'll gladly help out to find the code that causes this, just to improve interoperability. maybe they'll read this, maybe they won't... but the sitemap will be accesible
  5. i use winamp on a limited account with absolutely no probs whatsoever with plugin installed (normally media library won't load because of this regression), just try it and tell us if it works
  6. look at my previous post, u probably missed it (eventhough i posted it twice by accident )
  7. go go patje u are waiting for his help, and he's prolly busy with it rite? just to show the interest in the ati mobility thingy is alive and well
  8. limited accounts can't get the media library to work, so basically the workaround replaces a dll. also edits some permissions to the installed program files folder (ntfs). it duplicates the winamp folder, compares when closing winamp and writes the changes to a userprofile dirs instead (should be like that, but winamp devs never thought of that?). link to the thread: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=44880 , many thx to nanaki for his work btw link to the site of the plugin dev in first post thx

  10. if you go on the opera forum, they'll certainlly help you out. even some opera employees hanging around over there. cheers
  11. if u do, pls consider adding multi-user support. nanaki made a switchless thingy that autoconfigures ur install to be limited account friendly (own thread). thx
  12. 1. i believe you 2. I am inside, I have a laptop. 3. I had to work on my laptop for school, too late now
  13. oh well, here comes version 5 then
  14. Found the bug we were looking in the wrong direction... d'oh, oh well, command line switch iss useful too for some up to version 0.4 i guess. i suggest the %commonfiles% dir (or something like it). hehe, better luck this time btw: wot you doing inside, it's friggin hot in the outer world B)
  15. v0.2 not doing anything on my VM. what reg key does it check? maybe i don't have it, since i use alanoll's msi install... cheers
  16. i use opera 8, try it. goto unattended.msfn.org and behold... the google ad shows up in front of the dropdown menu items so i cant see the submenus. i payed for opera so would like to know wether it's a bug in opera or in the page coding. dunno jack sjit about html so couldn't check myself. cheers
  17. works great... tested it with limited account, also enabled guest account. it all works just fine. one question however: this doesn't work for people who have their program files folder set to something else, rite? ps: pint ak u tegekom k // edit: +1=2
  18. mercikes, ksnap dr zelf de balle van
  19. weird, apparently no one cares about such a big bug that can be resolved so easily people with batch skill, wherarthou?
  20. beschouw het als een reminderke of vraag 't aan een turk
  21. we all heard of limited accounts. winamp devs however probably never heard of limited accounts thus never implemented such support. however, this little extension (download here) will do the job just fine. i already automated everything needed for install through a .cmd file (e.g. the easy stuff), but need to set registry settings. author included such a file however it prompts for confirmation and overwriting or something. can someone please make it install silently, without any prompts? i could try for myself but it would take way too long to even come close*. please have a look at it and help us all out since i consider this to be important for all winamp users. thanks & godspeed edit: no one cares about this? *i'm just too lazy to learn it, would take way too long anyway setacl.rar
