Did you really try the version Firemin Portable 6.3.1.5105? I don't think so. It works like a charme on Windows Professional XP 32bit SP3 (fully POSReady updated). I didn't mean the installer version. If the portable version doesn't run in your system, then your partition is faulty or something is missing, unfortunately. BTW: When I state facts, I definitely mean what I wrote. And that literally! I assume you meant "That version doesn't work in my system", otherwise your statement would be definitely wrong And, just to clarify it! There are several programs whose installer version doesn't run under Windows XP 32bit, but its portable vesion does, and vice versa! Cheers, AstroSkipper

@mina7601! Same here! I would have "liked" or "up-voted" your post to show that I care about you, but one can't, and one shouldn't give a ike or an up-vote to this, either. That would be strange and misleading! Today's young generation, newfangledly called digital natives, have grown up with smartphones, tablets and computers. A healthy doubt about this development is essential and desirable. I only use social media when I need them for communication. But, the communication in this forum also has to be reflected, and you must not lose yourself here. It's not the real life, and a lot of information here, and everywhere else, is deceptive, poorly researched, often inappropriate, or even misleading! Anyway, wish you all the best, switch off sometimes or more, enjoy your life, you are still young! There is a lot to experience outside! Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper -

Updating of extensions in Mypal 68 I don't know whether other members here have already noticed that updating of extensions via the Addons Manager doesn't work at all. In my system, there were new updated versions of several extensions available at the official Firefox Addons site, but checking updates via the Addons Manager leads to the message "No updates", unfortunately. I had to download and install them manually. I have already reported this in the issues of Mypal68. It's the issue #138. Tested with Mypal 68.12.5b. Cheers, AstroSkipper

@feodor2! Thank you so much for your new release! It works great! I did a login on GitHub, and now, it is fully functional again. Full access to my account!

Thanks @mina7601 for your clarification! I don't use these Core or Kernel extensions anymore. If a program does not support Windows XP natively or modified, it won't be installed in my system. In the times of Windows ME, I used KernelEx, but it was always very fiddly, and very experimental. Hopefully, never again, please!

I totally agree! Following the rules is important and necessary. Actually, and obviously, my statement was meant as a historical classification and motivation. Therefore, non-political and non-religious! Is that not allowed, either? Anyway, all has been said! Discussion finished from my side! And, thanks for your hint! PS: Although it was not political motivated, I corrected one of my posts by cross-lining one word! To be on the safe side here! If I have to delete anything else, please, let me know! I certainly don't want to break the rules! -
I am a tea (strong, black tea as we usually drink in the north of Gemany, where I was born, called East Friesian Tea) and coffee drinker. These filters, as for example Brita, I used from the very first. The main effect of those filters is to reduce the concentration of calcium carbonate (lime) in your water to get a good taste and full flavour! Cheers, AstroSkipper

I don't like to see Angela Merkel in this list. These kinds of comparisons are inappropriate. You may not like her or disagreed with her politics in many things, but to be on a list with such beasts is something she does not deserve, and completely inappropriate! Schroeder is just a minion and money- and power-hungry old man! And, as I already said, all agreements or contracts between Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were meant by Hitler to deceive the Russians in order to further his own goals! Therefore, a means to an end, i.e. to the very worst! "Agreements" or "contracts" between devils! -

At first, "The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact" was a secret protocol of criminals and Mass Murderers. Hitler, Stalin, Putin and so on are such creatures. Furthermore, all contracts between between Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were simply fake. The mass murderer-in-chief, madman and most evil person ever, Adolf Hitler, was very cunning. He just wanted everything, folliwing the main principle " The winner takes it all!", and any means was fine with him. He lied, cheated, had people tortured and killed, fomented intrigues and so on. May he rot in hell! PS: @msfntor I up-voted your post above, but I can't agree with everything you say or conclude. It is not as simple as it seems. -
My Browser Builds (Part 3)
AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
This is what I have been constantly doing since the start of this year, making an archive of all indispensable Chrome extensions to be used alongside any of the three 360EE variants; MV3 requires at least Chrome 88 by definition, most sadly there hasn't been (yet?) produced a Chrome 88+ fork that would run under Vista SP2/XP SP3 (NB: I'm talking here about 32-bit OSes) ... Each extension I installed in different Chrome browsers was archived by me to be sure to reuse them if I need to reinstall the browser from scratch. I am aware that one day these extensions are not available anymore in the Chrome Web Store or already removed. And I do not trust Google although I am an Android user, too. I forgot to mention that in my Chrome browsers I always use the extension CRX Extractor/Downloader to archive easily all extensions installed by the Chrome Web Store. Sorry for being off-topic! Actually, this topic here is meant to be a support thread of all @roytam1!s browsers. -

ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy in Windows XP for future use
AstroSkipper replied to AstroSkipper's topic in Windows XP
Thanks @mina7601 for your objection! But, since we now have a proxy that supports TLS 1.3, and my part in the game was also work, a bit of off-topic should be allowed. And I'm improving my language skills with the help of @Dave-H and @VistaLover. I think a bit of fun and distraction in my thread really can't hurt. Also, I love my smileys as you've probably noticed. But thank you for your raised fingers , and you know I don't like to be off-topic in general. Cheers, AstroSkipper- 922 replies

Thanks for your compliments! Unfortunately, not all of German people are as kind and polite as you might think. But it's really nice to hear. Anyway, I wish you the very best, hope you have all considered very well, and take good care of you! I would like to hear of you again when you are back. -

AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I don't use Advanced Chrome for some years but in 360EEv11 I couldn't see a need of ChromeFill at first sight. Therefore, I decided to test it in Advanced Chrome, and you're absolutely right, I forgot it totally, it is Ch49/52/54-based. -
My Browser Builds (Part 3)
AstroSkipper replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
I've already tested the ChromeFill 0.1 extension in Advanced Chrome (CH54-based), and unfortunately, GitHub doesn't work properly. I couldn't note any differences with or without ChromeFill. The account menu is completely broken, and pop-up boxes, too. In 360EEv11, no need to add a Polyfill extension at the moment. All functions I need to use are working. -

Hello @D.Draker! I absolutely have to echo the wishes of others here. I fully respect your decision, but in any case, I hope that it is well-considered. We would be very reluctant to do without you in the future! Whatever your final decision may be, take care of yourself, and if you decide to go to Ukraine, please come back unharmed! I'm not religious either, more of an atheist, but I'll try to put it this way: May the Force be with you! Greetings from Germany, AstroSkipper -

That's very funny! In the German language, the word 'WIR' means 'we'. For example, "Wir warten auf das Release vom AstroSkipper.", translated into English: "We are waiting for the release of AstroSkipper.". But you're absolutely right! WIR, I will release it.- 922 replies
