  1. Hi... I build Unattended CD/DVD's for years and last week i got the error in T-15 first time. I searched for an answer, but the best answer was: integred SP1, SP2 and take RyanVM and modifie nothing more... no good answer believe me or not it has to do with 2 files with 2 unnessesary files (we all thougt) blank.txt and empty.txt for my CD it worked - and i tried a lot before you post --> "are you kidding me?" try out... I don't know if the content is important ( BLANK BLANK BLANK ) or not... (don't want to try anymore today)
  2. the only interessting thing in the post was the info, that you have a batch (buggy/komplex) to injekt the GDR_inf's in the HIVE's. i already know the steps maybe i can optimize it.
  4. Bilou_Gateux: Congratulations, you understand me =) If you want you can send me the batches and MAYBE i can help, but i think i don't have enough knowlege about batch to help you in a good way. but maybe Why do you use GDR and not QFE? - (I read the MS KB, but it was no clearly answer for me)
  5. i have/use a german windows version. oleg_ii: i know tommyp: i don't know how many and which but e.g. i know that the WLAN WPA2 patch from Windows wasn't slipstreamed and some other (patch with new msconfig.exe) My Structure (october):
  6. Still wrong understanding... I want: Extract the Hotfixes - replacing the i386 SP2 files with the new one - Add the QFE or GDR *inf information to HIV*.inf in i386 and all other information which i need to do so, e.g. txtsetup.sif dosinf... replaceing i386 source files. - i don't want use the /integrate:X command, no SVCPACK folder. in short: Hotfix files replaces the I386 Source files with all needed new information. (I'm not that noob, that you could expect if you look in my avater)
  7. No, you understand me wrong. I mean slipstream not integrate (SVCPACK) slipstream (you know) means to replace the original files from the i386 folder. i tryed it with hfslip and nlite but both of them missed some KB's (normal kb's which doesn't make problems e.g. 885250 (or something like this) i want repleace them. (slipstream) by hand
  8. Hi First of all i worked with nlite and hfslip and maybe there's a method that i don't know or i didn't test (PatchChk). But at all, the tools and programs didn't satisfyed me. nlite doesn't slipstream all hotfixes in the best way and all the comments in the end *urghs* hfslip miss some hotfixes... so i want do it manuel, can someone help me how which i shold choose? GDR or QFE and how to slipstrem the *.inf in the HIVE's of Windows?! and so on... please some post some information (****, what bad english but i'm not able to do it better at this time and after that day, sorry)

  14. really thanks... i had to modified something because of the '(' and ')' but now: the renaming works perfect... but exporting not that good... i modified a little bit more (as i can understand the soruce gg) to: in exporting.txt the KBXXXX won't be insertedexport.txt put's out (only 1 line):
  15. I could integrate all except of: KB867282 KB885250 for KB867282 you have to delete 834707 but whats with 885250? it will run the annoying...KB885835 but microsoft sad nothing about "replaceing" ____ and what is with removing of integrated updates like 707? do i have to delete the exe and cat in svcpack and the two lines in inf file? (i removed 707 and the 2 lines but still can't integrate..| wrong version, language and so on)
  16. hi can someone help me to write a short batchfile which: rename the WindowsXP-KBXXXXX-x86-XXX.exe files to: KBXXXXXX.EXE and than export the files(names) to something like this... %CMD% %SOURCE%KBXXXXXX.EXE %INT%%PATH% To explai what the var. means: SET CMD=START /WAIT SET INT=/Q -INTEGRATE: SET SOURCE=H:\UPDATES\ SET PATH=H:\XPCD\ _________ rename WindowsXP-*-x86-XXX.exe KB*.EXE doesn't work... i thought that should work... but no way... _________ i want a batch... that rename the files and export it with parameters in the beginning of the file and in the end similar example; WindowsXP333.exe to WIN333.EXE and export (text)file: like this one... PAR1 WIN333.EXE PAR2 XXX means the KB number and/or language...
