Hey sam, need your help desperately. I used RT 7 Lite for tweaks only, as there are too many option in RT 7 Lite and I just wanted to use one tweak, wish to enable desktop icons. I tried it number of times and when I treid to install my OS I am getting the same result, i.e. this error. And when I hit OK, I got this window: Please help me, how can I rectify this problem.

Sorry brother, I am actually trying to integrate language pack not only in boot.wim but in the entire installation files. Great, when I tried with 7 customizer it was giving some error but I don't remember the error code and now when I was trying once again it is not letting me do anything. It is giving me this message "Uncxpected error: see the log" when I am selecting the director of installation files. Mind it there are not spaces in the entire path of the installation files.

I have a very strange problem. I have tried to integrate english language with vilte, 7 customizer and RT seven lite. But vilte and 7 customizer have failed to integrate only RT 7 lite succeded, but when I tried to install that OS it is giving some CD/USB drive error, what that error might be and how can get rid of that error?

This is really unusual, there are only two options in "shutdown options" and system should either reboot or shutdown. Now regarding your network problem sorry brother, I myself a newbie, I am also leaning. I presume your system is not syspreped properly. I would suggest you to do a clean install and then sysprep once again using my method, I have done this number of times ofcourse successfully.

Its very simple, I hope you are using untrimmed version of windows 7 as the dll required for sysprep might be deleted if you are using trimmed version of Windows 7. see, go to C:\windows\system32\sysprep and then run the sysprep.exe, just select "Enter in Audit Mode" in System Cleanup Action, and reboot in shutdown options. The system will go in audit mode and login automatically as Administrator and if you have created any user account to login go to user account and delete that accout. If you wish to make any changes in the OS this is your last chance. Now select "OOBE" in "System Cleamup Acion" put check mark in generalize option and select "shutdown" in "Shutdown option". Now boot your system in PE or live cd and then capture install.wim your problem would be solved for sure.

I want to change language of my boot.wim, how can I do it? I can change language of install.wim by installing it and then install the language pack; change the default language (display language) and then capture the install.wim. Alternatively I can also integrate language using vlite or RT 7 lite or 7 customizer. But how can I change change the default language of boot.wim?????????????

Did you sysprep your OS before capturing your install.wim?????????? I had this problem when I was learning to capture install.wim from an already installed OS. And this error was occuring becuase I didn't sysprep my OS before capturing install.wim.

@ MrJinje Sorry I over looked you reply, you can also delete the setup.exe of root of the DVD but in this case your Win7 can only be installed in bootable mode. It is also tested and working.

@ MrJinje You can also delete .clg file.

Ofcourse I am adamant as it can be done, I have already posted in my earlier posts, I have done and I am using that OS without any problem. I guess you have also removed the setup.exe (of Sources folder) so only your installation failed. Just keep 3 files: The 2 wims and setup.exe in the sources folder, I am sure your installation would go smoothly. And yes I am not using vista boot.wim I am using Win7 boot.wim still everything went smooth. And its not only me, maxXPSoft has also done it successfully ofcourse on VM.

I have only removed all the files of sources leaving 2 wims and setup.exe, that is it. Have you removed anything else apart from sources folder, I am trying to make my OS as lite as I can.

I have also modified that image, still I see the modified image during the installation. I guess it takes the image from imageres.dll when we remove .bmp from sources folder. I guess if we changed the image in imageres.dll then we can removed that bmp as well.

We can remove bmp file as well. I have already tried.

Ofcourse we can in windows 7 as well. I did and my OS working fine believe me or not..................

No it is not so important, I usually delete all the files of sources folder except for Install.wim, boot.wim and setup.exe. Only these 3 files are important. I tried by myself and I am using my OS without any problem.

Yeah, my shortcuts are getting deleted, I am getting problem with install folder, and that too not entirely. Some of the files are deleted but not all. I don't know why????????? And yes when I run those scripts in au3 files in my installed OS all my files are getting deleted but when I compile those au3 files in exe and put in my installation kit, all my files in the install folder are not getting deleted. Please help me guys. Though I have now dropped that idea of install folder and Autoit, instead I have now captured the install.wim after installing those applications which I was putting in install folder, but still just for the learing purpose I wish to know the reason and solution of this problem. Please try to understand I am not a programmer so try to explain considering me a newbie as far as Autoit commands and DOS commands are concerned I hope the moderators would not close this thread.

Hi guys, I have written a simple script for deleting files of startup folder and install folder of windows folder in Autoit. But when I run this script (au3 file) in my installed OS it is working fine but when I compile this au3 file to exe and try to use in my installation kit the FileDelete command is not deleting all the files of Install Folder. It is promptly deleting shortcut which I placed in Startup folder and also deleting some of the files of install folder but not all the files. Please go through this script and suggest a solution. I suppose it actually start deleting file and then before all the file could be deleted it start reading next command so all the files are not deleted. For your information the actuall size of my install folder is around 48MB. Here is my script:

The windows is still opening but by adding this command "@desktopwidth , @desktopheight" my dos window is now behind my ARC.bmp, and it is only visible for fraction of second when my machine is shuting down. I guess I would now go with your script only. Thanks to all of you for spending your valuable time to solve my problme. I would be back with new problem, lol.

That cmd window is opening when silent applications start installing, and ARC.bmp is also appearing but behind that image a cmd window is also opening. I would try to add your commands before SplashImageOn and would post the reply soon.

Hi guys recently I have formated my lappy and installed windows 7 Ultimate (trimmed one), I have uploaded the last session.ini here. After installation I am facing following problems: 1. I am unable to use this application: http://www.shaplus.com/dataone/ We use this application to see our internet usage as we have limited download-upload facility. I am getting this problem after trimming my OS, but I am unable to understand which component I have removed my OS which is essential for this application. 2. I am unable to install NOD32 Antivirus as well as Smart Security. I have downloaded a trial version of NOD32 Antivirus as well as Smart Security but when I tried to install after some time I got this screen. I have tried each and every thing I have restarted my lappy, even I tried to install this application even after a clean insall, but failed to install. Please help me guys. Last Session (2).ini
