Those registry icons were updated in earlier versions with no success. There is a limitation of 16 colors, so it is better to leave them like that. hows the Frontpage folder icon? I can make easily one for you if you want.

XPize is for Windows XP and 2003 32 bit. MCE means that the style adopted is that of MCE.

markg85: Run those admin tools and get all files loaded with Process Explorer for example. I dont have the exact file list. Wesmosis: The Express installation type installs only Files (except msxml.dll and quartz.dll) and the CPL icon.

I tried updating all that stuff..but it was a real pain and the result wasnt even better that defaults. Most of those "icons" are actually 16 colors bitmaps.

XPize is not deleting Classic Style related stuff. What images are you referring to? Try the restore point XPize creates for you or boot in safe mode and apply Classic style. Check your Themes service also.

"Show shadows under icon labels" or something likw that will do the job. Also, XPize Settings let you do it as well.

I will be moving msgina.dll to Extras section as "Shoutdown & Logoff Screen". About shell32.dll, lets see how can I split iy to make those Royale dialogs optional.

I will only take into account XPizing Windows in built apps and most common apps (like Office 2003). The less, the better So I will improve only very common ones.

Im not thinking about it. Maybe kalavera want to do it. But I think you should install it. MAny new programs are appearing under .NET

If you reboot after installing XPize, you wont face any problems with it. ALso, remove xpize source.exe is delete itsself in the second reboot after uninstallation. XPize is has very clean uninstaller
