are you running from the built in admin account? that is the exact same error i got when i did that. you can not run rt7lite from within the built in admin account. you need to create a user account with admin privileges. MMMMM, yeah I was running from a built admin account - eh, on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit O/S. Alright, I'll give that a shot and see how that goes...thanks hclarkjr. did that fix it for you? hopefully ben can find way for it to be run from the built in admin account

i tried an install today using image i made few days back and got this error message - Windows could not set the offline locale information. Error Code: 0x80000001 anybody have any idea what i did wrong?

i built my image with the version out now and removed UAC completely with it as well as security center, windows defender and the windows firewall. i run behind a hardware firewall so i do not need extra protection

i find it funny that bens project has surpassed the couple other ones currently being worked on. i just made image with this and love all the extra things you can remove and tweak with his. now to see if the others ones follow suite with their development.

on average how long does it take to complete? i am running it right now and it has been 120 minutes and still at same spot. it integrated everything i selected but is stuck on removing components.

looks like ben has disappeared for now. i am reading on the rockers team forums and it looks like others are having the same problem trying to run the program. no answer from ben yet

i too would like to see further development of this but am not going to pressure him to do it. i think that is what drove nuhi away. hopefully he will come back and continue this. if not, it still is useful for some things as is.

for me when i use software of this nature; be it nlite, vlite or 7customizer it has always been to integrate drivers, updates and service packs and remove stuff i did not want like security center, windows defender and things like that. the size of the ISO doesn't matter to me. of course i have not moved to SSD either
