  3. nuhi, does that apply to my problem also?
  4. i tried to make install CD and integrate service pack 2, it installs fine but when it goes to load windows for the first time it keeps asking for password when i have no password set. i have it set to autologon, any idea what is causing this? here is the last settings used - [Main] Env = 1.3 beta - 2.0.50727.42.Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service Pack 1 Target = Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP:2 - 5.2.3790.2825 - English (United States) [Tasks] Remove Components Unattended Setup Hotfixes and Update Packs Tweaks Create a Bootable ISO Options [Components] ;# Compatibility # Compat01 Compat02 Compat04 Compat06 Compat09 Compat14 [KeepFiles] msconfig.exe [RemoveFiles] clock.avi yahoo.bmp swtchbrd.bmp [Options] ProfilesDir = "%SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings" TargetPath = "WINDOWS" temp_dir = %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp AdvTweaks [Patches] DoUxTheme [services2] [Tweaks] Desktop-Internet Explorer icon-Show Desktop-My Computer icon-Show Desktop-My Documents icon-Show Desktop-My Network Places icon-Show Desktop-Recycle Bin icon-Show Desktop-Show Windows version on Desktop Explorer-Disable Prefix: Shortcut to Explorer-Disable shortcut arrow Explorer-Preset Places Bar to: C: D: E: DESKTOP LAN Internet Explorer-Set Internet Explorer to accept 10 connects at a time Internet Explorer-Set popup-blocker to high My Computer-Add Administrative Tools My Computer-Add Control Panel My Computer-Add Control Panel to Context Menu My Computer-Add Device Manager to Context Menu My Computer-Add Folder Options My Computer-Add Printers and Faxes My Computer-Add Scheduled Tasks My Computer-Add Services to Context Menu My Computer-Add Software to Context Menu Network-Set TCP/IP Priority to 1 Performance-Processor scheduling-Programs Privacy-Remove Alexa Start Menu-Add Administrative Tools menu Start Menu-Control Panel-Display as a menu Start Menu-Disable Highlight newly installed programs Start Menu-Disable popup on first boot Start Menu-Do not use Personalized Menus Start Menu-My Computer-Display as a menu Start Menu-My Documents-Display as a menu Start Menu-My Music-Display as a menu Start Menu-My Pictures-Display as a menu Start Menu-Number of programs on Start menu-30 Start Menu-Printers and Faxes-Display as a menu Start Menu-Show IE Favorites Taskbar-Disable Balloon Tips Taskbar-Disable Group similar Taskbar buttons Taskbar-Disable Hide inactive icons Taskbar-Disable Language-Bar Taskbar-Hide Volume Control Icon in System Tray Taskbar-Lock the Taskbar-No [unattended] UnattendMode = 1 ComputerType = ACPI Multiprocessor x64 HibernationNo FirewallOff MaximumDataStorePercentOfDisk = 12 RestorePointLife = 30 DesktopTheme = Default|| AutoUpdates = 4 AutoUDay = 5 AutoUHour = 15 ProgFilesPath = "\Program Files" [NetAdapter1] connname = "" macaddress = "" ipaddress = "192.168.0.1" subnetmask = "255.255.255.0" defaultgateway = "" dnsserver1 = "" dnsserver2 = "" winsserver = "" netbiossetting = "0" ipxnetworknumber = "00000000" ipxnetworkframetype = "0xFF" [NetAdapter2] connname = "" macaddress = "" ipaddress = "192.168.0.2" subnetmask = "255.255.255.0" defaultgateway = "" dnsserver1 = "" dnsserver2 = "" winsserver = "" netbiossetting = "0" ipxnetworknumber = "00000000" ipxnetworkframetype = "0xFF" [GuiRunOnce] [Drivers] [Hotfixes] D:\downloads\AMD_Athlon_64_Processor_Driver.cab D:\downloads\IE7-WindowsServer2003-x64-enu.exe
  5. post screenshot of error msg. it is 2 errors. first one is access denied after about 3/4 of the way through the install. i click ok then another window pops up saying the install of service pack did not complete and then i click ok and it uninstalls what had been installed. i even tried it in safe mode with the same results.
  6. that's funny, i just installed XP 64 bit also using the latest nlite. the only wierdness i have seen so far is that IE7 will not do live search. it closes the browser completely as soon as you type 3 letters or numbers whatever the case may be. i can not also get to the options from within the browser but can from the IE shortcut on my desktop. other than that i am not noticing anything else. of course this is my first time running 64 bit so may know what is missing
  7. i just bought XP 64 BIT and installed it and want to make custom install CD with integrated media player. thanx
  8. i want to get the updates but can not get to site. i treid to install 32 bit IE and was told i can not do that. so now what?
  9. well i tried to install it but recieved an error message and it stopped installing and backed out of the install.
  10. has anybody installed service pack 2? is it worth installing? i am running SP1 on XP 64 bit. thanx
  11. nuhi, i noticed in the new things added for this version of nlite you mention support for service pack 2 beta for 64 bit windows. is that for download yet or closed beta for microsoft?
  12. just installed XP 64 BIT edition after using nlite to customise it. no problems at all, IE 7 64 bit integrated with no trouble at all. thanx nuhi
  13. nuhi, i see one of the changes in new version is fix for IE7 integration for XP64. i just made a new install CD few days ago and integrated IE7 but have not installed it yet. what was wrong?
  14. if i did remove the sounds is there anyway to get them back? short of reinstalling?
  15. i did not integrate the driver but ran the full installer after XP was installed. i can access the audio console but am unsure why my sounds are not working. i have sound but not the windows sounds, i know it is mimor but it is irratating me
  16. was not shouting, if caps set you off that much i apoligise. geeezzzzz and for the record ryanvm the reason for the caps was i was trying to emphasize that i was unsure if nlite was at fault for my slight problem, for you to jump in like that is uncalled for
  17. i just made a nlite install cd and installed windows without a clitch at all, added IE7 & WMP11 without any problems at all. thanx to nuhi and all the others involved in this my problem is a minor one that i hope is an easy fix. when i installed my sound card drivers (audigy 2Zs latest driver) i can not get the sound scheme to work. no start up sounds, clicks and so forth. when i go to controll panel and sounds the window is blank so i select windows default and click apply but it will not stay. any idea what is wrong? sorry if this is not nlite related
  18. yes, the silicon image controller is built into my AN7. thank you for you help. much apreciated as is nuhi for taking the time to make nlite.
  19. Fernando 1, stupid question if i may i have integrated the SATA driver into my install CD but am wondering - in order for the SATA drive to work in windows it needs the controller driver installed to be seen by windows. you know the silicon image driver, do i need to integrate it also??
  20. has anybody tried integrating the SATA drivers for non raid setup on a Nforce 2 motherboard? i have 1 PATA and 1 SATA drive in my system and want to make nlite cd that i can install the SATA drive as the boot drive. i have an Abit AN7 motherboard and would like instructions on what folders i need to integrate. i read through the thread and frankly it has me a little confused i have the latest nlite installed and ready. thank you
