rosswilson, there are numerous posts here about that error when you make XP with nLite on Vista as a host. Here's one (search will get you more) http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...aded&start=

Just to check, you are using Realtek sound card? Is it integrated?
-
sorry, my mistake, I just came back to correct it.

In I386, overwriting the older files, and the catalog files and the addons are in I386, subfolder NLDRV (or something like that )

If you are thinking of wireless networking, that's also possible, but the principle with the IP addresses is the same. There are small USB sticks that receive wireless network signals, and look just like flash drives. A lot of companies produce them, like THIS for example. But simple cable connection is much easier than setting up wireless networks.

Easy things to remeber / Requesting Add-ons...
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to piXelatedEmpire's topic in Application Add-Ons
You can also make your own .net 2.0 with this: http://www.msfn.org/board/Silent-NET-Maker...806-t90779.html -
You can add anything you want, as long as you add the same workgroup (or domain) name for your computers. the easiest way to connect 2 computers is with a LAN (RJ-45) cable and make sure both computers have IP addresses of the same class (e.g. 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2; subnet 255.255.255.0). if it requires a username and passowrd, enter them.

Ethernet (LAN) and TCP/IP for sure. You will use TCP/IP v4 with a local IP address.

Some more information would be appreciated, for example your Last_Session.ini and a short explanation of your procedure.

Integration of Intel's SATA AHCI and RAID drivers
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to Fernando 1's topic in nLite
Hi, I'm testing (try before you buy) a Biostar motherboard, model 945GC-M7 TE LINK HERE. I noticed that it uses Intel ICH7 and SATA II. So my question would be whether the SATA drivers you have offered for download will also work for this motherboard in an unattended installation? There is very little information on the website, and the Intel website for the corresponding chipset (945GC) only gives the Intel Matrix Storage, which I can't unpack. Thanks for your answer. -
Add-On Maker for Nlite 1.2.4 Update: 06/17/2006
Sp0iLedBrAt replied to {_carnificina_}'s topic in Application Add-Ons
I'm getting this same problem as well. Number 1 that is. Except for me, all the files are coming out as 260mbs. Please, I'm eager to get this working, can someone tell me how to stop that from happening? Guys, make sure that the folder you are using for your program is empty; e.g. if you want to modify Nero, put the .exe file in an EMPTY folder, or the program will include all the other stuff from the folder in the add-on, not just Nero. -
OOOh my God! What was I thinking? hihihi I thought I saw 1.5.x.x. That's it! no more late night staying on the computer for me, it's costing me too much embarrassment.

In one of the recent posts, nuhi mentions a new version of nLite available for download, namely nLite-1.4.5.b2. Can we please get a download link? It's not on the website.

I'm afraid I can only read a few of the data in your Last_session.ini, so a few questions: Do you have drivers or software for your camera and are they installed or included in your nLite CD? If not, is the camera normally recognized as a Removable Disk through Plug'n'Play? Do you think you have removed anything related to any of the former questions?

This is the first Add-on I made, intended for integration with nLite. It contains 75 Cyrillic fonts which I use most often, all of them are FREE. The addon was made with fontinst.exe and WinRAR silent switch, then packed into a CAB, everything according to an excellent tutorial I found HERE. It has been tested at least 10 times on VirtualPC using WinXP Pro SP3. You can get it HERE MD5: 5E3AAD86D744E65A45CBF1997FF1AD9B Hope you'll like it. Enjoy, Sp0iLedBrAt

Hello, I would like to use an nLited disk to install Windows XP, but just recently found out about this partitioning limitation. What scares me is that the format when reinstalling will delete my partitions (C:\ and D:\), especially D:\ where all my data is found, thus losing a lot of data. Could you suggest me to some method to avoid this and to point the CD to install to a proper (existing) partition C:\? p.s. I'm currently looking at BartPE, but it's not going so well Grateful in advance, Sp0iLeDBrAt

Is this true???

You should be able to integrate the following hotfixes in this order WindowsXP-KB926139-v2-x86-ENU.exe WindowsXP-KB938464-v2-x86-ENU.exe WindowsXP-KB960715-x86-ENU.exe WindowsXP-KB961118-x86-ENU.exe but you can't integrate .NET Framework 2, 3 or 3.5. However, there are addons that can integrated with nLite here , here and in RyanVM's forums. Perhaps it would be worth it testing this.

First, could you check if you have in your source CD wmdrmsdk.dl_ and framedyn.dl_ People have had similar problems, here's one example, and if you use search you will find other posts: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=83995 BTW, could you also upload your batch file?

Are you making a 32bit XP Pro now? Because the screenshot shows a x64 XP Pro SP1. Are you using the same service packs as before for the other CD? Did they work before, and not now?

see here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=123894

franpa, look closely at you screen after nLite finishes its process. Also, you have to select MAKE ISO at the beginning of the operation.
-
barnold, which program are you using to test your nLited CDs and has an error shown up so far about non-sufficient allocation of memory during the process? I have a crazy theory, but first I would really like the answer to these questions. Meanwhile, please post any test results that you get.

Two different websites I found on Google explain your problem as a problem with RAM or incompatible hardware. See HERE for example.
