  1. Thanks too early. Please read post #7 in page1 on this topic. If you have many identical files the optimisation helps very much. For exemple Windows XP all versions in one.
  2. Download CDimage Gui and try: http://www.tech-hints.com/prog/cdimagegui.zip I use it for Windows XP installation with various options - unattended, regular, with Bashrat driver pack, without BTS drivers. STARTUP button - there are 3 tabs - directories, config, about CONFIGURATION - 7 tabs - files, filesystem, boot, signature, report, test, creation files - if you use time stamp - mm/dd/year,hh:mm:ss - you should include hidden files and directories - check -h boot - choose your boot file. I use BCDW v.2 - it supports ISO (Acronis True Image, Disk Director ,..), I point to loader.bin If you use CD shell, EZ boot, your choice will be other signature - you should check -o OPTIMIZATION .... .... creation - what volume label? CREATION - command line Success
  3. @MichaelMagdy If your Norton Antivirus pack (or another program pack) size before optimization is 1.36 GB and resulting ISO image size is 796 MB you cannt burn ISO image (796 MB) to 700 MB CD. You should apply overburn using special CD (say 850MB) and your CDROM must support overburning. Making ISO (with wanted features incl. optiimizing) is very easy with CDimage GUI. When all preparements are done you press Creation button and you get alike this: The following Commandline will be executed: "C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\cybECC7.tmp\cdimage.exe" -l"winxp" -t02/16/2006,00:00:00 -h -n -b"D:\WinXP_RVM_BTS\loader.bin" -x -o -m "D:\WinXP_RVM_BTS" "f:\winxp.iso" It's usual Cdimage command line, but you don't worry about syntaxis in the above case.
  4. I made slideshow - *.swf and cannot bink it. There is no action, when i press the priview button RAD video crashes. Then I made slideshow with Video Caster - *.wmv. Bink compressed it. But my Video Caster is trial and inserts Trial version tag into my slideshow. Please advise any converter from SWF to any other (WMF, AVI, etc.)

  6. Lithuanian part of the lang.js Lithuanian and Latvian belong to Lettic (Baltic) language group - Indoeuropean parent language. Dead Prussian language also is Baltic language. lang.js
  7. Slovenian and Slovak both are Slavonic. Slovenia is from former Yugoslavia (Balkan state) and Slovakia is from former Czechoslovakia.

  9. The boot folder actually isn't required for Knoppix, at least on the CD/DVD. The boot folder's files will be used elsewhere though, it just depends on you do it. As the boot folder isn't required for Knoppix, you could remove it. I did so - "Image checksum error...Sorry" Next try will be to rename the boot folder but i think it will be not enough...
  10. I see Screwz Luse got ahead while i prepared to write some. I have analised - i don't see anything to hexedit or edit. Why for a h* is boot folder in Knoppix LiveCD ISO? I will totally remove boot\isolinux. Hasta la vista despues una hora.
  11. I am not an entusiast of Vista (Longhorn). I think it's still very raw and work very slow. I did not try to rename its boot folder. Should be renamed another boot folder. I suppose you have analised http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com Problems to boot Knoppix LiveCd in the Multiboot DVD: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=56704&st=30 I think you should rename boot\isolinux to somewhat knop\isolinux, extract rebuilt 3420.img and analise with hexeditor file isolinux.bin (size 2048 B) - if there is any link to boot\isolinux you should hexedit this file. May be you should modify syslinux.cfg
  12. Knoppix still boots. Tomorrow i will try to change switch for CD image: -j1 I need able longnames for Rescue on BartPe basis.
  13. I have tried to use /boot/isolinux from original KnoppixLiveDVD.iso (without isolinux.bin and boot.cat), have made new multibootDVD.iso and have burned DVD RW. I will try to boot DVD after 3 hours as i don't want interrupt downloading.
  14. Modified Darude1234 method (Sep 29 2005, 11:12 AM; Post #27) Step 1 Download Knoppix.iso, extract KNOPPIX folder to the your future DVD root. Step 2 Download Floppy image 4320.img and extract it to the root of your DVD. Open the image and extract all the files to the \boot\isolinux folder on your DVD. Step 3-4 Extract bootfile from Knoppix.iso with Bart's Boot Image extractor or ISO manager (MagicISO or other). In case of the Bart's Boot Image extractor, image1.bin should be renamed to isolinux.bin. Bootfile got by MagicISO should be saved isolinux.bin (2048 kB) Replace the bootfile (isolinux.bin) in the 4320.IMG (you have extracted in the root of your DVD) with the new (2048 kB). Step 5 Delete isolinux.bin in the BOOT directory Step 6 Edit your cdshell.ini or bcdw.ini if you use Bootable CD wizard Step 7 Make ISO i think the folder /boot/isolinux would be OK from original Knoppix.ISO, only should be deleted isolinux.bin and boot.cat in the /boot/isolinux (Darude1234, may be you experimented with it and you have boot.cat in your boot folder).
  15. Godzilla I use Botable CD wizard and think your command will not work for me, as there is no file isolinux in the root of the DVD Darude 1234 Your method so sophisticated - let's to analise it: Step 1 - it's clear Step 2 - download 4320.rar and extract it to the DVD root. We have 4320.img; there are 11 files in it: All these 11 files will be extracted into the folder /BOOT/isolinux. Is it good the caps for linux - /BOOT/? Step 3 - it's clear - download Bart's Boot Image extractor --- bbie.exe Step 4 - bbie has created 3 image files. You only need image1.bin. You can delete the other 2 image files. Rename the image1.bin to isolinux.bin ________ isolinux.bin it's size is 2048 B _________ and place the file in the 4320.IMG you have extracted in the root of your DVD. There is isolinux.bin already in the image file - 4320.img; should we replace it?; no mention about this. OK, let's replace it. Step 5 - rename isolinux.cfg to syslinux.cfg. There is no isolinux nor in the /BOOT/isolinux folder nor in the 4320.img file: see Step 2 results in the quots. There is already syslinux.cfg!!! in the file and in the folder. Add all the files in the BOOT directory into the 4320.IMG. Why do it as all files in the BOOT folder are same as in the 4320.img, except isolinux.bin (you remember - we have it renaming image1.bin; it's size 2048 B)- we have extracted them from file to folder? Let's do it - and all files will be overwritten if we will allow this. What sence? And what about isolinux.bin? We have one 2048 B in the 4320.img and another 9856 B in the Boot folder. What to do? If we overwrite it why did we such hard job? __Delete boot.cat & isolinux.bin in the BOOT directory and only boot.cat in your 4320.IMG.__ There is no boot.cat!?
  16. You should use Search function. 1. You could use Power packer: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=55254 2. You could use Nazqul's Boot Folder creation, winnt32 /noreboot replacement: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...&hl=boot+folder In any case you should enter your CD key. I think you have entered wrong CD key, you have done some error
  17. I use BCDW v. 2 as soon as it appeared in www.911cd.net/forums. Before i used another wizard v 1.5z - but it does not support any ISO pmshah You mean that it asks for CD key? The same problem i had/has and could not managed to solve. As Bashrats Driver Packs, Programs took a lot of my DVD space i threw off Windows installations except XP.
  18. I think you use flykite method (http://flyakite.msfnhosting.com/)? I have slipstreamed SP2 manually; that time there was no slipstreamers. I think you should type switch /? to know command syntaxis. It was 1 year ago i do not remember it. You could use any SP2 slipstreamer or use any utility like nLite that could make SP2 slipstream. Further i followed directions to have bootfolder - winnt32 /noreboot; deleted files bootsect, migrate, winnt.sif renamed bootfolder to PRO1 hexedited setupldr and so on under instructions; no difference regarding SP2 As you do not use Win2k installation no need for Setup folder - my folder I386 stays in the root and no need to edit txtsetup i386 folder in BartPE is renamed to BPE1 and so on - under instructions.
  19. Even only winXP cannot fit on one normal CD for me (With integrated updates, driver packs, three ways of the installation and no programs). I should use overburned CD for WinXP and other for programs.
  20. I wanted to make rescue DVD I had ISOs: Win XPE (BartPe) 700 MB UBCD 188 MB Knoppix v.4 Live 3.3 GB Hiren 7.3 48 MB Made sure all ISOs was working in real, none virtual PC. Extracted all boot image files with UltraISO (another program could be used) exept WinXPE no need to extract bootfile as it was used Botable CD wizard v.2. The contents of each ISO was extracted. WinXPE folders: UBCD folders: Knoppix v.4 Live DVD: Hiren 7: Boot files (in the root): UBCD - UBCD.DAT (renamed and hexedited to point to UBCD folder (not boot)) Knoppix - knoppix.bin 10240 bytes (renamed) Hiren - HIREN73.IMG (renamed) All folders and files was piled in one Folder that was named RESCUE. Choosen only one of Autoruns. In bootable CD wizard folder i have edited BCDW.INI file. The fragment of this file: Used CDimageGUI - as loader defined loader.bin (of the bootable CD wizard) not forced to upper case (where it needed it was), because of Linux Burned grand ISO, all worked fine, exept Knoppix - it stopped at some boot stage. To analise was wrong - lack of time - will try whenever another time
  21. I have tested sysxpfat (and bootpart, when i could not get dual boot) in FAT 32 partition (8.057GB) I can recover files in my corrupted partition - all files - by Easy Recovery, it's trully easy to understand and easy to work
  22. Have finished experiment second time. I returned to Windows but with no help from sysxpfat nor bootpart. BTW - first time i crashed my NTFS partition - it became NTFS-HPFS, Acronis DD cannot repair. Recovery program did not recovered Windows 2000 with SP4, eMule, BartPE plugins. Have additional trouble.
  23. This is my second try to return to Windows - i still have C:\> Sysxpfat don't help. I have to load BartPE(XPE) CD and - winnt32 /noreboot; to edit my boot.ini; to delete 2 folders ($...) in partition C. After this i have choose - DOS or Windows Now i am posting from CD and will return to Windows.
  24. ***MasterMind*** Why you create new topic? Just 2-3 titles below - oemlogo.bmp Come to page 6 and read. If you still do not know what to do, ask there. First of all you should to search before you ask, maybe your problem is solved and you need just to read.
